Beginning in January 2022 I visited Dentists of Carson City and, after an examination, I was informed I needed a root canal, a crown and a bridge. I was provided a very complicated estimate with many small separate and large charges. I had the root canal on January 28 with Dr. Gabriel S****. Then I went in for an appointment to have the crown put on by Dr. L******. During that appointment my tooth disintegrated and I ended up having my tooth pulled. Thereafter, I stopped going to see them and filed a complaint with the financing company. The outcome of Comenity Bank investigation was in my favor. Comenity Bank shows I have a zero balance In 2022 I was initially going to file a complaint of negligence with the Board of Dental Examiners and to the Better Business Bureau, but, because Dentists of Carson City refunded the money and took my account with them down to zero, I decided not to. With the assistance of my daughter, ********* *****, who spoke with Dentists of Carson via email and telephone, they agreed to return all of the money to the finance company and said we owed nothing. This was on April 20, 2022. In March of 2024, I received a bill for $3,300 stating “these charges are not related to visit account.” As stated above, my daughter contacted them six to seven times via email and telephone in an attempt to get an explanation to clear up the matter. To no avail. Dentists of Carson City has now sent it to collection to Tek-Collect, Inc., ** *** ****, Columbus, OH 43216. I sent a letter disputing the validity of this debt on June 18, 2024. My desired resolution is for the $3,300 bill to be taken out of collection and returned to a zero balance with Dentists of Carson City. If needed I have documentation of the aforementioned.
