Dates of the incident would be June 27-July 1, 2022. These are the dates where work was done/not done and texts were exchanged. Transaction dates are June 9, June 11, June 29, and June 30 via Venmo payments to the business. The labor was $1845 + 787 = $2632 was labor he added the 787 He said hardwood coast more to do then the snap in pieces Then $350 was for gas and dump runs Changed a extra $1000 for removing my existing floors which he knew he would have to do and was Told that was included in the first price but I paid him for that as well The $ 380 extra he told me he needed supplies for some fill in things for the floor so that was another added charge. Grand total was $4362 paid in Venmo payments to him. The business committed to: -Remove existing floor -Replace the floor with new hardwood and replace baseboards -we discussed him doing the chimney as well- at a later date- however, the 380 paid for supplies- only 100 was for the floors- he picked up stuff on his own for the chimney- even though I told him that we would do that after the floors but I still paid for it. The nature of the dispute is: I was told, Arthur, from Above and Beyond Services, would be at my house on June 27, 28, and 29th to start and complete my floor project. At this point, he already had three payments sent to him for the job totaling a little over 2,000 dollars. On June 27th, I was told that he could not make it that day or the next. On June 29th, he came at 1pm-4pm. He told me he would be there the next day but instead he just dropped off a chimney sample vs actually doing the floors I paid for. On Friday, July 1st- I asked when he would be at my house at 9am, he did not show up until 12pm. He filled in some spots on the floor and left again around 3:30. I was then sent a text message asking me where more cash was. He was referencing “chimney” money which we did not actually agree to. As of now I’m out over 4,000 dollars.
