I live in a newly constructed ******************* On an early sub-zero April morning, the kitchen window cracked 4" at the bottom of the pane. Over the next 2 days, it expanded across the entire glass. Nothing's ever touched this window; it's never even been opened. So I emailed Avanti ******************************* with a request to replace under warranty, including photos.Summary:4/17: Our window broke. No signs of impact. Requesting replacement under 2yr warranty. 4/19 Response: Nope. There are signs of impact. 5/15: The crack originated from the frame. It's not an impact. Specialists were on-site and confirmed this. Again, requesting replacement under Avanti's warranty. 5/16 Response: It's probably from an impact...maybe from under the beading. Or maybe a stress crack. It could be from the Sauna that's 3' away. This is not covered by the warranty. Contact was: *********************** | Deviation/Service Coordinator The problem with *****' responses is they don't make sense. They also come across as flippant. The outdoor sauna is fully insulated, yielding zero outside temperature variance. Nothing 'impacted' the window as it originated from under the frame. Window Specialists confirmed the piece is defective and recommend contacting the manufacturer. After repeated comms with Avanti, I'm being told the defect is probably from a manifold of possibilities, but "obviously" not from a defect and won't be acknowledged under warranty. This is honestly absurd as the window is defective. Everyone who's seen it in person agrees with this assessment. If Avanti doesn't wish to honor their 2yr warranty guarantee, they really need to remove it from their product. However, as it stands, they advertise the warranty and am requesting they honor it by replacing the window.Business response

Purchased new home from Lennar Homes, Avanti installed doors and windows. I have 2 sliding glass doors, one upstairs and one downstairs. Upon moving in the sliding glass doors were difficult to open, the hardware on door was bending in effort to open, as time has passed the doors have bowed. On November 1, 2022, I had to call an emergency exterminator as I had a herd of stinkbugs entering the Master bedroom entering the home through the sliding glass door, as well as the laundry room window, the upstairs bathroom window, and the upstairs hallway window. I now have excessive dirt building up on the windowsills, and tracks and glass of sliding glass doors. The doors and windows do not seal. Avanti's response is that this is the way the doors are designed, and that the bugs and dirt are coming in through the weep holes in the windows. They refuse to give a written explanation, or a solution to repair the problem.Business response
