On the company's website they advertise Facials. I scheduled a facial but when I went in for my appointment in June of 2023 I was told they no longer do facials. I asked for a refund and was assured I would receive one but when several days passed and I didn't receive one I disputed the charge on my credit card since I did not receive the service. For nearly six months now I've been sent statements for a $55.00 Chemical Peel. I DID NOT get a facial, chemical peel or any other service. I've reached out several times to have this resolved and I keep getting told it's under review. I need this cleared up, I'm worried this will affect my credit score.Business response

Las Vegas Skin & Cancer Clinics (the Practice) appreciates the opportunity to review this individuals concern. The Practice has confirmed that a charge of $55.00 is not reflected in the individuals account at this time and that statements have been discontinued accordingly. Service date: 02/10/2021 Amount $: 40 Business Name: **************** and surgery / Las Vegas Skin and Cancer This is my complaint about a non-refunded copay, $40.00. I have contacted the billing department 2 times, however, I have heard back from them yet. I mailed my receipt and EOB to show my insurance paid the full amount so that I do not have a responsibility to pay the $40.00. A copy of the EOB from my insurance co. and a statement from my ***** credit card is attached.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/01/21) */ We spoke to the patient and explained that an appeal has been submitted to her insurance and that we are pending insurance reprocessing. Her main concern was her refund due to her insurance informing her that she did not owe due to the denial. We informed her that if a refund was issued and her insurance adjudicated and left a copay that she would receive a bill. She opted to wait for the insurance to reprocess the claim before receiving the refund. We asked her to allow about 30 days for reprocessing. We will contact the patient once her insurance reprocesses and let her know the outcome.
