    Paid $11,000 2 years ago for a what was supposed to be a brand new HVAC system. Last week, the compressor goes out. It's covered, but the labor isn't. They want $2500 to replace something that I just paid for 2 years ago. And when I called to discuss it, Michelle, the person who answered the phone was basically saying tough ****. No apologies, nothing. Absolutely worst customer service EVER! After reading these reviews, I see this is par for course. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company.

    Unresolved HVAC Issues and HORRIBLE Customer Service We first contacted A&R Complete Service in early September because our HVAC unit wasn’t working. The system would only blow air constantly and wouldn’t turn off. A tech came out and “fixed” the issue. The air conditioner started working, but the fan kept running nonstop. The tech came back and finally got the fan to turn off. Fast forward a few weeks—when we needed the heater, only the fan would run again, and no heat came out. Same problem. I requested a follow-up, and a different tech came out that same day. He spent about 15 minutes and said the issue was fixed. Last night—we used the air conditioner, but now the fan won’t turn off again. I submitted another service request. When the service department called this morning to schedule, they said the tech could come out tomorrow between 12-4. I told them that I couldn’t turn the fan off, even after shutting down the entire unit, and that it smelled like something was burning. The representative was extremely rude and just said they were within their 24-hour policy. I have called back several times and now they say they can't come out until Saturday. This time I spoke with Cassandra and she was also extremely rude and unhelpful in any way. I am deeply disappointed with the unprofessionalism, poor customer service, and lack of urgency displayed by A&R Complete Service. Their inability to properly resolve the HVAC issues after multiple visits has forced me to seek help from another company. I will never recommend A&R Complete Service to anyone.

    A & R continue to live up to their poor reputation. A star is given to their support team who have always answered my call and provided immediate service. Zero stars are given to any further service beyond the appointment call. Like many, our insurance company, HSA, sent A & R to repair our AC. Several minor past visits were completed such as fuse repair and program box; however, unknowingly to us, A & R was submitting false reports documenting conditions that resulted in HSA denying coverage. For wxample, stating our AC unit was “missing parts.” Where did the parts go? What parts are missing? You have to laugh at that one. Pure fraudulent practice with the goal of selling a refurbished AC unit at a hiked up price. HSA limits service companies, leaving many stuck with these corrupt companies. With all the service call payments we have made, in hindsight, we could have purchased a brand new AC unit from a reputable company and had no dealings with A & R. Learning experience. Beware of this company. There is no way positive reviews exist. Dr.Tats

    A&R is running a scam with home warranty companies. They come to your house and will only stay the 15 minutes required to collect their hour of labor. They lied about my AC system to avoid repairs so it wouldn’t cut in to their profit from the Home Warranty contract. They unplugged my damper system which caused my evaporator coil to freeze up and now my drywall caved in my ceiling. I hired a separate contractor to to come look since A&R claimed my conversation pan was rusting through which caused ******** ********** to deny my claim. Two separate contractors couldn’t believe what A&R did. They lied about my pan being rusted and they caused my system to fail during the hottest part of summer. They refuse to answer their phone or respond to messages. This is nothing short of felony fraud and I’ll be soliciting others who have had similar experiences to take this to prosecution. I know the game they’re playing now.

    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received so far regarding the replacement of the air conditioner board. The experience has been frustrating for the following reasons: Lack of Communication: Despite multiple attempts to reach out, my messages have gone unanswered, and my calls are never picked up. This level of unresponsiveness is highly unprofessional. Delay in Service: For what should be a minor job—replacing the air conditioner board—I was informed that the part needed to be ordered as it was not in stock. It has been over a week since then, and I have yet to receive any update. Moreover, no one has shown up to complete the job, and my calls to follow up on the status have been ignored. This is not the level of service I expected from a contractor associated with ******** **** ******.

    Unprofessional. Incomplete, inaccurate technician and operator service. Shadd the tech did not send in an complete service report to ******** **** ******. They had no idea what to replace. It took 28 days for a response and then they tried to push an New Overpriced AC unit. The situation is still unresolved because they still haven't submitted a Complete report. Had to use another company to fix the situation. They cost me more $11,000 more in unnecessary cost. And 28 days in the 110 degree heat. We are seniors with health issues. Terrible people service disrespectful.

    We’ve waited a week to have our AC looked at. I called to check on it, and was told that the tech was here already and then left, because no one was home. He clearly lied, as both myself and my husband were home, waiting for him. There was no knock at the door or doorbell ring. We have dogs that bark whenever someone is at the door - no bark. Now they tell me they are very booked out, that he can’t come back because he’s done for the day (4:15 pm). They say our order is now closed out and it is “impossible” to reopen it, without our landlord putting in another order request through the HSA.

    Unfortunately, I cannot look up this customer as we don’t have anything with that name in our system. I don’t know if the contracts through Hsa is under a different name but every time we arrive at a property and nobody is home. My technicians are instructed to take a picture of the property to prove that we were there and I would love to confirm that, but I have no property address and the customers name on the review does not match any of our customers. So we can get the information provided to us. I can research this and look Into this issue, thank you

    My AC unit first started blowing hot air into our house on Monday. The technician, Antonio, came on Tuesday. He said he fixed a wiring problem with the unit, and that everything was good. Within four hours the unit was blowing hot air into our house again. They sent the same technician back out on Wednesday. He said he added coolant to the unit. Everything seemed to be going well until late Thursday morning, when again, the unit started blowing hot air into our house. We have a home warranty that likes to contract with these people, so they set up another dispatch with these guys. The contractors are supposed to contact you for scheduling within 24 hours. I had to call A&R myself to schedule the next service. I specifically asked for a different technician, who would not simply do the quickest fix and leave that will break a few hours later. They sent Antonio back. He added more coolant. I pointed out that this is exactly what he did two days ago, and it didn't fix the problem. He assured me it will be fine this time. Welp, it's been about 18 hours, and lo and behold, my AC is blowing hot air into my house again.

    About a week ago we called our home warranty company, ******** National, because our recently purchased home has a non-functional water valve behind the washer. No leaks, just need a working shutoff valve since we're shopping for a new washer. ******** contracts with A&R Complete Service in our area and they approved the repair so A&R dispatched David to assess the valve. Said our home warranty wouldn’t cover it because it requires the Sheetrock wall be opened and they wouldn’t approve that. Clearly didn’t want to work on our valve. Left. Talked with Home Warranty Company, husband opened the wall, send a plumber. Paid $75 copayment to ******** National. David was again assigned to our job and called to ask what type of valve and what parts he needed. We texted a picture to him at the hardware store. Arrived with the wrong parts. Broke apart a factory valve assembly to use a couple of parts out of it and didn’t use teflon tape or other sealing substance. Valve leaking after he left. Back to home warranty company, A&R couldn’t send David again, he was off, so they sent Mark. Mark “fixed” the leak and left in a hurry. Still leaking, called A&R again. Dispatcher required that we go through ******** and open a new claim, since this is a new problem. (another $75). Mark had filed a report that this was not part of the original problem, so a new claim needed. Negotiated with ******** to get them back out to fix the second leak without a new claim. Logic being there was no leak to start with, their technicians created the leak. Now Saturday morning, called to get someone out and let the dispatcher know the work order was updated. Refused to send another tech without a new claim. We called a different company and paid out of pocket. But they had a professional plumber on site within an hour of our call (On a SATURDAY), and they had the problem fixed within an hour of his arrival. DO NOT USE A&R. Call a real professional.

    The worst company around. I encourage you to look elsewhere for repairs. In making a claim through ******** **** ****** (***) for water coming out of my vent, the tech from A & R Complete Service came out and did not complete the service. The tech did not go into the attic to check the source of the leak. He proceeded to tell my wife he "didn't fit" in the attic. He left with no repairs being completed. 1 1/2 weeks later I have water damage in my bathroom. I called *** for a recall and the same tech came out and he proceeded this time to enter the attic where the leak was. He said "It was a moved trip pan. I didn't see it last time because I didn't go that far back." I asked about the damage done from the first visit to the second visit and their negligence of not entering the attic and going to the source of the leak during the first visit. Their response is "We are not covering it." They lied to *** about the initial visit to cover their poor craftsmanship and professionalism. A & R's integrity, professionalism, and job performance is in serious disarray. If you get assigned them through *** please respectfully decline this business and seek another business that will actually help you not hurt you.
