Siegal suites senator at 136 west 2nd st Reno nv 89501 is full of drug addicts, alcoholics and poorly ran staff. I've been here for 3 months and my air conditioner has not worked the entire time. It's topping over 130 degrees in my apartment. I'm told every time I say something to Casey the manager and she says everytime "tomorrow " but nothings ever done. This staff needs to be replaced immediately with competent staff. That includes front desk, management and security. There's been no maintenance staff assigned to this building in months.Review from Moriah H

Not professional, not accommodating, and not transparent!!! I moved in on June 1st of 2024. Instead of walking into a ready to move-in apartment, my husband and I walked into a dirty and unpolished apartment. The main closet is not usable because the pole to hang, needs to be fixed, the closet doors do not close, the carpet needed much vacuuming, the toilet needed cleaning, the countertops were filthy, lots of dust and grime throughout the living space. Not to mention that after we paid in full, we were not allowed to have our keys so that we could move our things gradually, which was such an inconvenience. Also, the so called furniture, specifically the sofa is disgusting! It’s ripped and dark and dingy. My husband showed the pictures to one of the office managers and she said that we probably would not be getting a replacement. Not once did she offer to do anything to make up for all the inconvenience that they put us through.Review from Brittney B

This property is trash, the office manager Shayla is rude, discriminatory, and prejudice. She treats the residents like they’re beneath her. She has terrible negative energy and no people skills or compassion, she doesn’t try to work with she solely works against you. She also posses a lack patience, lack of effective communication and reflective listening.Review from Holly J

The manger is super rude. She never spoke to me only my kids… something not even them… my food went bad in my fridge because it didn’t work.. she did NOTHING about it… my whole cabinet was literally falling off, nails and wood sticking out and she made month for a new cabinet that was post to be the same size as the one already there. I was told by maintenance they had a cabinet they could replace it with but it was 5 inches shorter. I said I’d wait… plus I only waited because I figured it would be less work for them After waiting the month with the unsafe cabinet, mind you I have a 2 year old.. lol she gave me the cabinet that I already said I didn’t want… I almost forgot the cabinet were falling of the first day I moved in they came and put nails and screws to hold it up…I was already told i was going to get a replacement so I went and asked… they told me they had the one that was 5 inches shorter and I said I’d wait… just to get the the cabinet that was 5inches shorter and for them to do a poor job at putting it in…….. I don’t look for hand outs but a little understanding gets you along way after informing her I’d be late on my rent she called the tow company at this point I knew she was being prejudiced,. I’d been keeping her posted about my job and everything. I just moved to Vegas fell on hard times due to car issues I lost my job and it otl her that.. I kept my rent paid but when I started working my job.. when I got my first check my manger told me it will hit after 12 so I told her and she called the tow company… I told her I was leaving and she harassed me… she even made the people working there uncomfortable to the point they started giving me advice and told me to report her to the BBB.Review from Stefanie W

Management at the Select Siegel on flamingo and Eastern lied about my background. I had my babies father go and see if he can use his. She approves him and starts flirting with him. She called his cell phone and came to our room knocking on the door. Management was telling him how she use to sell her body for money and how she can ease information off the computer. The person that hired her needs to get reexamined as well as herself. She is very unprofessional and I will be searching for a lawyer for falsification for my background check.Review from Robert A

I have been a long time tenant at the Siegel Suites off of Boulder Hwy. For over ten year, my family and I have stayed there. But, we are being forced out of our home. I live with a disabled person and he isn't the cleanest. He hoards and I tried telling her I'd help him clean it up but he continues to make it messy again. She yelled at me insuating that I abuse him that I push him to one area of the apartment. She's given us a week to clean the whole place. Since moving to a new unit (the current one I'm leaving) we have had rats, roaches, and bed bugs. She retorted that dirty people have rats roaches and bed bugs. Little does she know the rats have been here since we first moved into this unit. Mind you I've never had a rat problem before moving to this downstairs unit. Same with roaches. Before she became manager, our next door neighbor was having her place fumigated for roaches and every pest control specialist will tell you if you do one room do the others attached too because the roaches just travel to the other rooms. The manager Mary has been rude since she has arrived. Lots of long term tenants have left not because of rent increases but because of her, the other rude office staff, and a handful of maintenance workers who don't do their jobs. Not to mention, the fact that they have continuously lost my mail. Have continuously gave it back when I'm on the lease telling the mail people that I don't live there. It's happened multiple times and I've called each time to say hey my name is on the lease. It's the same excuse everytime oh we're sorry. Sorry?! When I don't have insurance because of them they're sorry. It's the same issue with the same person, once or twice is a mistake- but a repeated offense?! I'm in major distress and depressed. There's a kid here and she doesn't care about that. She only seems to be in kahoots with white residents and a select people of color residents that she likes. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Avoid if you can.Review from Harmony

I booked a week at the Siegel Suites Swenson on 4055 University Drive in Las Vegas while on an assignment. The service/goods are not as described. The photos depicted online are not like the facilities you actually stay in. I took photos & video. I went to the front desk and the staff first reminds you of no refunds, prior to fixing the issue. They also lack empathy, which is essential in hospitality. In the so called contract it mentions cleaning, and yet the place is unhygienic. So many dead bugs, live bugs, filthy carpet and mattress, so much dusk and the smell when you walk in was horrible. When I went to clean the bathroom the shower head flew off and almost hit me in the face. Water went everywhere and I had to wait for a maintenance man to come out to fix it. Once again the staff member at the front desk was rude. I ended up leaving two days early, because I rather work on campus than stay another night. When I called regarding my deposit I was told it would not be refunded, because I didn't stay a minimum of 30 days. Deposits are usually only held if there was damage done to the property. The rep Nina should not have a job. Just, because you may work in a low income community, doesn't mean you get to be unprofessional and ghetto. Siegel Suites, considering the condition of your properties, the least you can do is have qualified staff. You can talk about contracts all you want, however false statements or misrepresentation can void a contract and even allow the other party to seek damages. I am a homeowner from out of town, who has legal advice. I think this company is so used to dealing with the disenfranchised, they continue to operate in such a poor manner. However my circumstances are different and trust me if I don't get my full refund, I will use all avenues. It's about the principal. No human being should have to live under these circumstances, or deal with individuals like Nina, no matter their financial situation. I have only just begun.Review from Eric P.

This place is dirty, it smells and it's invested with cockroach s. They sorta have an exterminator that comes around on Fridays to spray but it does nothing. They completely take advantage of people, charge you fees for everything. I definitely didn't "feel appreciated," which is what there billboards say. To top it off I moved out, they kept my $100 deposit, also the site manager ****** signed for a ***** package after I moved out, I called and asked if she seen it? She lied and said she returned it to the driver. I have two claims with ***** to find my packages, ***** records said it was delivered and not returned. I'm not saying ****** stole my packages but I smell a RAT. Please for the love of God and all things right, DO NOT STAY WITH THIS PARTICULARLY PROPERTY! EVER!!!!Review from Dominique P

5 months been living with roach nests and roaches they have gave me a forgger to get rid of the roaches and even did said "cleanout" didnt work and have yet to remove the picture that is infested with roach nests in it going on day 4 still waiting for them to remove it i still have bugs and me and 4yr old child are coughing and iching from the bugs Going mentally insain from bugs and nats flying roaches and nest and inconvinece on my life and childs mental and general health we can sleep and for 1400 $ a month and 400 $ a week is outrageous i have had to spend over 500 dollars on caulking and bugsprays to keep my child safe this is discusting and an inhumane
the ladies in the office dont even want to hear or see photos of the bugs thats crazy
