7/31/22 nicks services was assigned by Choice Home Warranty to replace some plumbing parts at my home. Nicks services replaces the valves to my toilet because in NV the water is very hard and damages these internally. CHW approved the work.**** told me he had to replace a valve flush to my bathroom floor, but that it was ok and didnt want to chip away at my flooring. Everything seemed good.Well apparently he did not repair it correctly causing it to leak and cause water damage to my floor and walls.CHW refused to reliable and told me they could not reach *********I contacted **** in December 2022 and he stated he would come out and fix the leak. When he came out he stated it wasnt that bad and the mold I showed him was just Bug p*** and I need to just clean.I had to call a restoration company to dry up the water and clean up the mold. My mud room had to be plastic sealed and a heap filter had to be brought into my home to clean the mold spores out.I tried to contact ***************** who denied my claim and now Im left with an uninhabitable mud room all because CHW sent out the is company and now no one wants to be liable

On Aug 6, **************************************** two bathrooms and two vanity faucets. One of the bathrooms main line is attached to the floor where the angle valve is connected to is very close to the tile floor.  I was able to replace the angle valve without removing the grout to the floor because the copper pipe had an inch play. I installed the valve and turned on the water and checked for leaks, there was no leaks present. I was in the home for about 2 hours, replacing two other vanity faucets. I also rechecked the valves before I left, there were no leaks found. I recieved a call from CHW on Dec 27, 2022 to check on the leak complaint from the homeowner. I went the home on the same day to check on the leak. The homeowner stated that angle valve I replaced has been lightly dripping for months. I told her why didn't you call me or CHW when you first found out it was leaking and why didn't you turn the water off. Her response was that she doesn't use that bathroom. She also said she didn't want to turn off the water. I also found that the vanity faucet in that same bathroom when in use, the water would leak from the back drain into the wall and to the floor. I showed her mom and she saw that it was leaking too from the drain and told her daughter and I told her as well. Just to make it clear I did not work on this vanity faucet that has this leak because she had no complaint or issue in this area during my initial visit in August. The only vanity faucets I worked on are the ones next to the washer and the other hallway bathroom. She showed me the mold on the bottom corner of the door inside the bathroom, but I didn't tell her that it was bug ****, i never used that term. I didn't mention anything about the mold at that time, i was focused on the issue of the leak. I did replace the angle stop valve for her. I also cleaned some on the mold on the door that she was concerned of but I was not able to remove all of it completely. I am not responsible for the water damage to her walls because she neglected to address the issue in a timely manner. If I was not made aware of the issue for months, how could I have fixed it. It was only 4 months later she that decided to call us.
