My son contacted this transmission shop that is near our home to have his car repaired on Tuesday, 11/7/23. The mechanic verbally quoted him a total price is $2100. He dropped the car off, received a receipt for dropping it off, and was told they'd do the diagnosis and then write up the final invoice. Two days later, someone called my son and told him they needed a $500 deposit to get started-still no written contract. My son took my card WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, and gave these people my card number. Later that day, I looked at my bank account for another reason, and noticed $1500 had been debited. Upon discovering this, I attempted to contact the shop to no avail. I've left messages and even went over there on Saturday during a time when they were supposed to be open, but they were closed. Then, this morning, Monday, 11/13/23, 4 days after they charged my card, my son went over there, to ask them about the charge. They are now saying the car is going to $2800 to repair - $900 more than they verbally quoted him. We have nothing in writing. The people at the shop are now saying and he needs to talk to the boss, who, of course, is unavailable. My questions; How can a company 1) charge a card that clearly belongs to someone other than the person giving them the card info, and 2) do a job for that amount with no written contract, ESPECIALLY when you KNOW you are dealing with a CHILD?! This seems really shady to me.

Fraudulent repair on my 2011 ******** **** C300, It was towed in Feb. 6th 2023 and 1st choice transmission had it for over 2 months. ************* Direct and Al (owner of ********************** and auto care) both decided to use parts from a transmission that was supposed t0 be replaced. instead they put the defective transmission control module and valve body from original transmission into the replacement transmission, put in the wrong transmission fluid, failed to report a defective transmission was shipped and decided to use it on my car anyway. I never authorized the use of defective components in my vehicle. The radiator, Thermostat, and transmission were what needed to be replaced and properly installed. any new transmission for my car first has to be programmed to my vehicle by ******** benz certified mechanics with certified ******** benz equipment. Al never programmed the transmission and test drove it for 10 miles prior to taking off the transmission and putting the original back on. wrong fluid in radiator and transmission caused water pump to fail and they broke both lower control arms for my front end. as well as a number of other damages totaling (in estimates) over ****** dollars not including interior damage and possible engine gasket damage because of his ignorance!

I brought my car to this repair shop for transmission work...they rebuilt it and other parts with a warranty that was 12,000 or one which whichever comes first! The soonest I noticed there was an issue with the trans again I took it right in!! We paid over 2,000 for this repair and here insisted that the car was fine after repeatedly telling him there was an issue. He said "drive it some more and see what's happens". This was not what I or my boyfriend wanted to hear because it was still covered so why not fix it?? Well I know why...to run us past our warranty and now the car is doing the same BUT WORSE!! This didn't help me in any way shape or form. His exact words were "Drive it a little longer see what happens....it's fine I don't know what to tell you!!!l" Really...after just four months my car is back to square one!! When he could have fixed it in the first place like he should have when it was still under warranty!!! Do not come here!! I will be taking this matter to court!! Beware of this man!! He took three weeks to fix it after promising it in 4 days!!! Horrible customer service and even his employees knows he's ******* me big time because they said it themselves! Now he wants me to pay for parts that were replaced with the job. How does that make sense...I want a refund or the warranty honored since I did. Come before the expiration!!! People pay hard earned money just to be ripped off it's not right.
