In May 2023 we had problems with our transmission leaking. We contacted Allied service center and dropped it off for repairs. On dropping it off made mention my certified mechanic brother told me it sounded like a convertor. They pulled the trans out 2 times replacing seals and gaskets, that didn't work. They gave it back to us for the weekend because we were getting hotel rooms outside of ***** because our dog was to big for hotels downtown. On the 3 time they called and said it was the convertor, the first bill was$2700.00 and the second was $585.00. Opon picking it up, he said they were filling the trans, we sat in office 21/2 hours waiting for it. The manager walked in office with our mirror in his hand, he said get a new one and he would reimburse us. My wife said how about taking it off the bill, but he insisted , don't worry just send us a bill. I located a new one bought it and installed it that was $53.00. Opon our drive to *********** **********, smelled something burning and pulled over it was the wiring harness for 02 sensor burning on the catalytic converter. All the lights came on and the transmission wouldn't shift properly, so my wife called the manager and said bring it back. We had driven 500 miles and couldn't go back it that place. Down the road had to stop and put in 4 quarts of trans fluid, made a call to Allied service center peace of mind. They gave me a claim number and headed to ********. I took it to Buck truck repair in ******* ******** and on Opon repairing it, both the shop and myself talked to peace of mind and they said seeing as though they didn't itemize what they did with the repair they wouldn't  pay for it. When they pulled the trans out they didn't put the harness back up and secure, Allied would take blame for their mistake, and pay for the bill or the mirror they broke. Please help us out so this doesn't happen to anyone else, retired and don't want to be taken like this.

In May 2023 had a transmission leak, and made it to ********* and checked around to find a shop to repair it. Contacted Allied auto service center and was able to take it in May 17th. They removed the transmission and installed seal and gaskets, still leaked. They removed it again and did the same thing and it leaked again, **** taking it in I made mention my brother was a certified mechanic of 55 years and it might be the convertor .They let us use it over the weekend so we wouldn't have to rent a hotel room 35 miles away, because our dog was to big for the hotels downtown. We brought it back on Monday and they said yes it needs a convertor, we already paid ******* on the first bill . They put a convertor in it and charged us ******, but opon letting down off the hoist they broke our mirror off. The manager said get a new one and send him the bill, my wife suggested taking it off the bill. 3 1/2 months later he claimed 4 or 5 checks were in the mail .we left and on our way to *********** ********** and smelled something burning, pulled over and found the wiring harness on catalytic converter. Before next stop trans was acting up with the lights on the dash and pulled into a gas station and had to put in 4 quarts of trans fluid in it. My wife called Allied and he said bring it back, we were to far! I made a claim to fix wiring because it was not installed back properly, Opon taking it to new repair shop in ******* ********,it was a Napa repair facility, they called Napa peace of mind and also myself. They would not pay claim under warranty because allied didn't work the repair order right. They said did they take out trans, I said yes 3 times . Please help us. Thank you ***************************.

This is the bill we had to pay because of negligence of the shop, by not properly attaching wire harness up the way it should be. Also they had to disconnect the wire harness plug to remove the transmission 3 times.i don't believe my wife and l should be responsible for poor workmanship. This mistake on their part costed is $692.33, plus the mirror they also broke on their hoist. My wife and I both talked to *** the manager and he assured us he would pay us back. There was always a check on his desk or in the mail, he also said he would issue another check. All this has been a bunch of lies.i worked acar dealerships for 45 years, we never were to treat people like this. *** said to get a mirror and he would take care of it, this also cost me $53.67. At the time we picked it up he said he wouldn't take it off the bill, but he won't pay us neither. Please help us with this matter, no one should be treated like this. Thank you, ****************************

Received a phone call from *** the manager from Allied service center in Las Vegas. He asked me to email him the receipts from the repairs on the wiring and the mirror from, from repair shop in Michigan. I emailed both receipts 1 for $698.00 and $53.00. I gave it a few days and contacted *** and asked him how it was going, he told me he was talking to the owner of the shop and he would talk to peace of mind. Peace of mind is the warranty side of the Napa auto service program. I just hope this is not over, *** has made a lot of promises, this has been an on going since the end of May. Thanks for any help ***************************.

      Hello,

We have submitted the paperwork to see if there is warranty coverage for this wiring issue.  Thank you for sending along the additional paperwork and we have clarified with Napa the exact services done on your vehicle and that there was an issue with our computer system that prevented us from updating any invoices that day.  Trust me, we have not forgotten about this and trying our best to see what we can do.  Thank you.

Please let me know are we to be reimbursed for the wiring issue and the mirror that was broken. We are no unreasonable, just would like to be compensated because this was not our fault. Hello.  I'm feeling disappointed that we're not getting help with our neglect to not fixing our motorhome completely.  Before we left for our vacation we got a credit card in case of a emergency.  Unfortunately that's exactly what happened to us.  We are making monthly payments now just because of no finishing the job properly. We feel Napa should compensate ** for we are on social security and wanted to celebrate our 40th anniversary $750 is a lot to us .Thank you *************************** .

It's ******* and this is still not resolved, if the tables were turned they would expect some kind of recognition on this matter. Please don't let these people get away with this, it's been like this since day one! Thank you for your help ***************************.

November 3, 2022 REPAIR/WORK ORDER #: ****** Cost $5,391.20 Service: Car Repair I was charged for some repairs, parts and labor that were never done. I was charged for the REQUIRED MANUFACTURER PARTS for repairs that pose a potential safety issue and the parts used were not parts manufactured for my vehicle and they were cheap/substandard. NO, this business has not tried to make good or tried to resolve the problem. First, their hours of operation are the same as my work schedule. They are not open on the weekends. Please note that when theses repairs were made I wasn't employed. Secondly, they do not pick up, drop off your vehicle nor do they provide rental car services, which I incurred $400 rental car expenses due to these repairs because they had possession of my vehicle for four days.On February 18, 2023, I visited my local Meineke Service Center for an oil change and a set of new tires. At that point I inquired about an unfinished repair that ALLIED stated would cost me a minimum of $1500-$2500 and (9) hours of labor. When asking the Assistant Manager, **** if they do repairs on AC/HEATER blower, fans and motor(s), I explained what I was told the problem was and the length of time it would take to repair it. ******************* the noise I spoke about, she had her mechanic assess the concern advised and reapired the problem which only cost me $76. On February 22, 2023 I went back to Meineke because of a disturbing rattling sound in wheel assembly/chassi and the windshield ****** fluid line I thought was clogged. *** and **** both took me outside to show me that there was ABSOLUTELY NO windshield wiper fluid in the cansister and the rattling sound could be my struts. I was asked by ******* to come back with the receipt from ALLIED and they would reinspect my vehicle by verifying the part numbers on the receipt with the repairs/replaced parts. February 25, 2023, I was informed of this wrongdoing and I have pictures and a video.

We have really and truly bent over backwards to assist you with this matter- which is not Allieds fault.

The used engine that your extended warranty required failed.  This is not Allieds fault. This is a very hard to find engine in this market and this matter has been made much more complex by you calling a vendor directly with vulgar comments.  Im sure you remember we waited many weeks the fist time.  This is not Allieds fault

This engine failed due to a lack of oil and you have a legal duty to mitigate the damages - which did not happen.   It kept being driven.  This is not Allieds fault but we were trying to help.

At this point, we are having internal discussions about what we can or are willing to do.  As well, we have called you multiple times without answer and your voicemail is inoperative.  No email was provided either.

The alternator and other items not related to the engine on your 14 year old truck purchased used to transport cars has nothing to do with the engine and that was demonstrated to you.

Lastly, staff has been instructed that only I deal with you based on the vulgarity of the conversations that have happened thus far.  I hope we can discuss this before the end of this week. I will call Tuesday, Wednesday , and Thursday, at 11 am. and 1 pm. ****.

I am rejecting this response because:
It keeps being suggested that I drove the oil completely out of the car instead of acknowledging that the oil leaked out all at once after being brought back and sent away many times stated they dont see a leak . So to mention a legal duty to mitigate oil is absurd. Things like this are being said to attempt to defend a bad job installing the engine. I never once had a oil light or check engine light come on and the truck ran a week the smoke and leak happened all at once not over a course of me keep driving  all the way down to the coolant hoses that were leaking attention to detail when installing the engine is why we got these results all the way down to failure to re starch the hood latch and parking brake I got my truck back worse than when it came in . The alternator is an example of failure to pay attention to detail its obvious it would need to be changed when putting a new engine in especially since it was covered only someone with no knowledge would hook up the old alternator when changing an engine. There was no problem paying for it . These are just examples of a half done job. Install a engine and new radiator not change the hoses set up for failure mentioned the alternator going out because these are things that had been ignored causing me to return . I am not happy that I am being accused of calling the warranty company being vulgar that did not happen the call with ****** was short and pleasant and informative letting me know that documents were requested weeks prior and thats what they were waiting on I was being told by the shop they were waiting on them . Not true  I am angered that in an attempt to defend the bad install job it keeps being mentioned that I drove the vehicle not maintaining the oil thats not true as I have call logs of every time since I got the truck calling abt the leaks and asking how many times must I bring the truck back to solve the leaks I was reassured there was none when I clearly point the drops out
      Sincerely,

I took my vehicle to ALLIED AUTO SERVICE CENTER because its a certified auto repair shop. Drop my vehicle off on or around 8/4/2022. I was notified a few days later that my head gaskets and cam shafts need to be replaced. I agreed to the repair. It took one month for the shop to complete the repair. I paid $4,062.48 in cash on 9/2/2022. The repair came with a warranty. However, after replacing the engine, it started Overheating. I took it back to the Allied Auto service center because I thought that maybe the thermostat was closed making the vehicle overheat. They claim that they replaced the thermostat and flushed the coolant and the engine was still overheating. They told me that the radiator needed to be replaced in order to fix the problem of overheating. I was then charged an additional $843.86 on 9/28/22. After picking up the vehicle on 9/28/22 I Drove the vehicle to work, as soon as I made it to work, the head gaskets blew again, white smoke filled the parking lot. My car engine has not been repaired properly, Allied Auto Service Repair milked me for additional money for a radiator when it was the engine all a long. I am NOT happy or satisfied. I am furious and sad. This company has done nothing but rip me off. I want my engine fixed and I want my money back for the unnecessary radiator repair. If they are not able to fix my car , I want ALL of my money back ! My car is currently back at Allied Auto Repair Center. Its been there going on two weeks. Every time I call , I am left on hold for up to 15-20mins at a time. They are Not willing to compensate me with a rental car in order to get back & forth to work. Ive been paying additional money to catch rides to work via LYFT and riding with co workers. My job is in jeopardy. My savings is depleted. I dont have money for a lawyer. This repair shop has put me in a total bind and they seem to careless about it. They are a certified repair shop through AAA and they have done nothing besides Rip me off!

      Hello *****,

We are so sorry this has taken extra time.  Unfortunately, the new head gaskets that we installed failed and we are taking care of them under your warranty at no charge.  Attached is a picture of your engine.  We're just waiting for parts that we expected two days ago.  Supply chains are very unpredictable right now and genuinely share in your frustration. That said, we will be using another manufacturer so there is no chance of another, very inconvenient problem.  We are fully aware of how much interruption this can cause anyone and we appreciate your understanding thus far.  Please try to keep in mind we are unable to use the service bay when your engine is out.  We really want it done too, but we must insure there is not another failure.  As for the radiator, just so you are aware we flow tested it and it failed.  This likely contributed the failure of your gaskets as well and we are still covering the head gaskets.  I also pulled the phone logs and don't see anyone on hold for that amount of time.  Please let us know when that might have happened and it will be addressed.  We really do understand how important your vehicle is to you and it's important to us that you're, unusual for us, warranty issue is totally resolved so you can enjoy the trouble free driving we promote.  Thank you ***** and letting you know we are very very much on this for you.

I am rejecting this response because: they have not told me this verbally. When I call the shop I have been left on hold multiple times. I have been told that *** will call me back, he never does. In fact, *** was suppose to be calling me back since yesterday 10/13/22 and I am still waiting on the call. They seem to be avoiding me at all cost. So their statement is a bunch of bull c*** They would not want their own Wives, daughters, mothers or sisters to have to endure this type of treatment from a mechanic shop. Communication is key and Allied Service Center has flat out left me hanging. My job is jeopardy. I had to call out of Wednesday. I am loosing money by not being able to work. I am in school. I have to pay for rides to get to/from work & school. I asked for Allied to accommodate with a rental car, and they rejected my request. They clearly do not care to take care of their clients. I paid them up front and I am still waiting on a response. They had time to type a response but hasnt found the time to call me to communicate this response verbally. They are full of it. I attached a picture of a call showing that I have indeed been left on hold and that was just one time, its happened at least two other times.

      Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
Although the car has been returned back to me, they say its in good working order however, I had to take it BACK to their shop on 10/28/22 because the check engine light came on. After having my engine replaced the check engine light should not have come on. Apparently this time they needed to change the Oil Filter Sensor, or oil pressure switch or something like that. They did not provide paperwork on the work that was serviced on 10/28/22. They act as if they were doing me a favor because they claim this wasnt apart of the engine work that was covered in the warranty. I dont understand if your engine is totally replace why wouldnt the oil pressure sensor be apart of such a big job. Furthermore, after have all of the work done and paying out all of this money my engine is still tapping. Im in the process of trading my car in because I am NOT satisfied with the service Allied Auto Service Center has provided and I dont trust that my car will keep running reliably, I have had problem after problem since dealing with this company. I am convinced that they milk people out of good money for auto repairs. This company is supposed to be certified and these tech mechanics are full of c*** They talk a good game but they dont walk it.

This car was properly repaired under warranty due to faulty parts that took a long time to obtain.  A check engine light came on due to a faulty oil pressure sensor that we did not replace.  We replaced this as a courtesy.  We hope this clears things up.  As an aside, the engine was not replaced, the head gaskets were.  A check engine light was illuminated due to an electrical problem, not any head gasket repair.

      Hello,

I was involved directly with this repair.  I am sorry you had to return your vehicle for a warranty service.  You should be covered as you have a 24 mo. /****** mile nationwide **** warranty.  Please call ** at the shop or refer to your paperwork to proceed with a claim.  That said I am surprised to hear there was still a concern.  We replaced the seal with a factory part to insure the need for any further trouble.  In fact, I inspected myself after the repair and no leaks were present.  We very much pride ourselves of the quality of our work and, more importantly, how we stand behind it.  Let's try to pursue this together.  Thank you.

I took my RV to Allied Service Center for repairs on 4/14/22. I picked the vehicle up on 4/27/22. They did not fix the problems that they identified. The vehicle broke down in route to taking it back to Allied for warranty work. Although they identified that the problem was related to the component (Auto Park Brake Shoes) they had just replaced, they refused to cover the cost of towing. I picked the vehicle up from them again on 5/5/22. I got it home safely, but when I tried to move the vehicle again, the same problems presented themselves. I am currently stranded. I refuse to take it back to Allied again, and am seeking service from another repair shop. Allied has collected $4,200 from me in repair costs, and there has been approximately $1,500 in documented additional expenses as a result of their incompetency. The vehicle is in the same condition as when I took it to them initially.
