In March April I went to Midas on Nellis to get an oil change after, they recommended I change my water pump and serpentine belt. Both of which I did. *****, the store owner was telling me how his workers drink on the job and how he doesnt like his workers. Upon hearing this I was concerned about who was working on my car. About 3 weeks later belt and pump broke. The pump bursted and after a diagnosis at mechanic shop, I had Midas repair the pump and serpentine belt. The owner ***** had told me he had to fire someone because the faulty job he did repairing my car. I was only refunded the labor cost. Then at the end of July, my pump and belt broke again. It was confirmed the belt and pump were installed incorrectly and that damage had occurred to my alternator tensioner battery and possibly other components. After contacting Midas corporate and speaking to Sherwin, Midas field operation specialist, they agreed to cover the repairs at a different Midas and ******* had told me that the company has been trying to get this store closed down. They refused to fix the alternator and other damages to the engine. They didnt think the damage to the alternator was related. Upon having a different mechanic repair my car it was confirmed that there could have been damage from the water pump and belt that indirectly affected other parts of my car. My air intake filter was put back on incorrectly and other components were damaged. At this moment I had to pay $1400 worth of damages. ***** and Midas have caused me so many issues.

I took my car to Midas for a diagnostic and was told i would be informed of what was wrong with my car. When they informed me that I needed a new engine so I told them I couldn't do that repair at the moment they said I had no choice but to pay the full repair. When i went over to pick up my car they now refuse to give the car back to me. I need someone's help with this ASAP. I use my car for everyday personal and business use.

I purchased a vehicle in October 2021 that needed check engine light servicing in order to pass ***** On 10/28/2021, I took my car in to Midas on Nellis to have my car serviced for a diagnostic on my check engine light which resulted in needing to be serviced. Daniel assisted me. He let me know that my car would need to me in the shop for a few days. They offered to place me on the free rental wait list and would call me as soon as it became available. Almost 2 months later after weekly follow ups, my car was finally serviced on 12/23/2021. While my car was being serviced, I called to request they do a tune up on my car as well. Daniel let me know it should cost $60 - $70, and that if it was more, he would call me to let me know. He also asked if I wanted them to do the smog test for me while it was in the shop, I said yes. I did not receive another call from him until my car was ready for pick up. When I picked up my vehicle, Daniel was no longer there. There was an additional $219.70 for spark plugs that they did not get my permission prior to doing the work. After leaving, I realized I had not been given my smog paperwork and noticed that my car was missing half a tank of gas from when I took the car in for service. Given that it was right before Midas closing time, I decided to go back next time I was free. On 12/27/2021, my check engine light came on again. I returned to Midas that same day to request they fix the issue that originally brought me into their shop. Randy was not assisting me. They did not have time to do it right then and there, and I was leaving town the next day and could not come back soon, but he said they would give me a call to schedule me in to fix the issue. I never heard back from them. Since then, I have contacted them and spoke with Randy on the phone. As I was explaining my experience, he treated me in a rude and belittling manner. Midas never fixed my check engine light.
