To whom this may concern. Initially **************** brought his 2011 GMC Sierra ***** to ** on 11/22/2022 with performance issues. The ***** was then diagnosed as having spark plug and ignition coil failure. The service was suggested and completed. It returned with, again performance problems on 1/5/2023. It was checked and found several problems along with flood/fuel washed cylinders. We performed several tests and procedures to narrow down the cause. Several days/time was involved to help with finding cause. Due to faulty PCM , correct live data results were difficult to determine. Engine compression could not be resolved so repairs went as far as replacing cam shaft, lifters performing valve and replacing PCM. Results were better with minimal misfire regained compression. Owner was advised that if problem persist to take to the dealer (GMC Technician) for evaluation and return to us so we could address issue.
