On 3-31-22 I went in to talk to Bill about the work I wanted done to my 2011 ********** 3. Replacing an internal shift fork. This job involves opening up the transmission, that is why I personally spoke to Bill.we pulled up diagrams and confirmed the work i needed done involved opening up the transmission The additional jobs that I wanted done to my Mazda included: The 1st&2nd gear shift fork, A Clutch kit installation, a rear main seal, and OEM throwout Bearing, a Throw out bearing fork, and Wheel bearings. On 4-4-22 I dropped my Vehicle off. 4-15-22.I was told by the shop that they have my transmission pulled out of the car but they are not able to replace the shift fork for gears 1&2, The MAIN reason I took my car in. I was told because it was a sealed transmission, which was already known. I could have been told before the transmission was pulled from the car, so I could have just taken it somewhere with the capabilities. After receiving my vehicle back, I noticed that technicians did not install the OEM throw out bearing as I had emphasized various times. After doing a quality check on work I noticed My air intake filter was crushed, my custom ********* Battery box was broken, My driver side lower control arm ball joint was damaged, and there was a small puddle of engine oil coming from the rear main seal I had replaced The work was not done correctly, and I was led to believe that job tasks were able to be performed that in fact Triton auto and his team were not able to perform, Costing me more money on my end. I stated before I would usually give places another shot but because of all of the negative events that have stacked up and the very long turnaround time, I would rather take it to a more capable team with better abilities and turn around times. I am asking for a full refund and replacement of damaged components and the labor time to install damaged components

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/05/12) */ Contact Name and Title: William W***, President Contact Phone: ************ Contact Email: *******@gmail.com As to Mr. ****** concerns. Mr. ****** vehicle has been modified with many aftermarket high performance parts as Mr. **** uses this car for racing. Mr. **** came in to discuss working on his vehicle. He brought a diagram of a transmission with a shift fork that he brought himself. After reviewing the diagram that Mr. **** supplied, we agreed to replace the shift fork. Unfortunately, the diagram that Mr. **** brought us was not for the transmission that was in his vehicle. Due to the close tolerances, and the many aftermarket parts installed on his vehicle we could not verify the identity of the transmission until it was removed. After removal of the transmission and realizing this transmission was not the transmission in the diagram. We tried to locate a transmission shop in town that would take this transmission apart to replace the customer supplied fork. With the transmission in Mr. ****** vehicle more than likely he supplied the wrong part because this was not the transmission in the diagram. After speaking to Mr. **** of the difficulty of trying to find a transmission shop that would work on his transmission to replace the forks Mr. **** brought us a used transmission at his discretion. As for Mr. ****** throw out bearing Mr. **** had a conversation with the technician working on his vehicle and decided not to replace the throw out bearing as the throw out bearing was satisfactory to reuse. Upon disassembly the technician had found several parts not properly secured and the air intake filter was already crushed and his ********* Battery Box was already broken due to improper installation. The technician working on the vehicle re-secured may of the parts not properly secured before the vehicle had arrived. As for the lower control arm ball joint we would have to inspect it. As for Mr. ****** oil leak we would need to inspect the vehicle to see where the oil leak is coming from. Mr. **** supplied many of the parts to complete the repairs, which we do not warranty customer supplied parts and Mr. **** was fully aware of no warranty on customer supplied parts. As for the rear main seal we did supply it and if the seal is leaking it would be under warranty, however, with the heavily modified engine it may produce excessive amounts of internal crankcase pressures, if this is the result of the engine modifications then replacing the seal will not remedy the leak. Any warranty work to be performed will have to be done at Triton Auto Care. I invite you and Mr. **** to bring his vehicle in so we can address his issues and would be more than happy to accommodate his concerns. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/05/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept the representative's response. The reasons for the rejection is due to inconsistencies and deception tactics. I was not the one who brought a diagram, they pulled it up and I brought the correct parts they simply didn't have the knowledge to due the job. They were told before the shift fork was internal they could have definitely know they were not able to do the job before removing the whole transmission and forcing me to pay them for a job they couldn't complete. there was not even an attempt made to do the job they just didn't have the skills to do it but took on the job anyway. As for the conversation with the tech about the throw out bearing, that never happened. I never authorized anything but the OEM throwout bearing and throw out bearing fork to be used. I highly emphasized in the letter left to them which I have provided in the attachments, That nothing but the throwout bearing I provided was to be used. My air intake Filter was not damaged and neither was my Battery box prior to taking my vehicle in for the job. This was damage created by the technician's poor workmanship and sloppy practice. I would Like to see documentation in which your techs noted the "damage" and "Loose components" along with documentation of my approval to use any parts besides the ones that I provided. There will be non Because the representative is being Deceitful in order to avoid paying for damages The Bottom Line is that I paid for a service to be done on my vehicle with the parts that I provided. They could not properly complete the job because of lack of communication/Carelessness. This is why I am requesting a refund instead of having them try to fix their mistake. I would rather not risk having my vehicle further damaged by this team, and take it to the dealership where I know it will be cared for. The Throw Out Bearing mistakes alone is enough reason for the rework. You pile On broken parts, Lying to your customer about the abilities of your staff , Taking 3 weeks instead of the projected 1 week, and improper installation of seals. I would rather not do business here again. I would not have a problem with taking it to The ***** Dealership, having them document repairs needed and having Triton auto cover the repair bill there. Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2022/06/17) */ We have made an offer to have Mr. **** bring his vehicle in for inspection with your presence and he has denied the offer. He has accused us of being deceptive when he has never brought the vehicle in for inspection nor has has he ever contacted us in any form. Our service advisor was there when Mr. **** was showing us the diagram and also was with Mr. **** when he was talking to the mechanic, which Mr. **** has denied both instances. No one has seen the issues that Mr. **** has complained about and we don't know if they even exist. At this point there is not much we can do for him without seeing the vehicle. He has denied events that has happened here where we have witnesses that seen it happen and never seen the vehicle to inspect any of the conditions that he is claiming and has refuse to bring the vehicle in for inspection with an offer for you Mr. **** to be present to inspect the vehicle along side him and us.
