On August 15th, I submitted a request for an autographed item of mine (***************************** signed CD) to be authenticated by Piece Of The Past. After uploading images of the item to their website I was prompted to pay $13 which was supposed to include a certificate of authenticity. The receipt number for my payment from their website was #****-4550. The guarantee on their website states that "the authentication process will be within 24 hours or it will be free". On the third day after not receiving the email notice of authentication, I sent an email inquiring about the status of the item. The email was returned the next day and I was told they had receive the submission but that the owner was out of town and it would be a couple of more days when he got back. He also stated the item was likely genuine. It has now been more than 2 weeks and I have yet to receive a certificate of authenticity as promised and paid for. I would still like to receive the *** for the item I submitted and I would like to be refunded the $13.00 according to their policy.
