Bankers are unknowledgeable and unprofessional. You will be charged for fees without warning. When I opened the account, I made it very clear that I will be bringing a large amount for the 3 month CD, Bill failed to mention that if the large amount is in cash, there will be fees involved, so I was charged for fees that I wasn’t aware of. I also mentioned that I am starting a new business in California, I will need to be able to operate my account online. Bill never mentioned my bank statement will be default in the paper statement, nor to mention there will be statement fees. Couple weeks after the account was opened, I emailed him regarding not seeing my statement online. Bill didn’t mention anything, just gave me a number to call. Soon, I was charged a paper statement fee. When I received my CD, I had questions regarding the interest amount. Bill didn’t bother to explain, just said “it is correct” Everytime I do a large amount transfer, it would take 2-4 weeks to arrive at my other bank. NSB usually calls me to verify first before approving the transfer. It takes lots of valuable time but I can understand they are trying to be safe. Last time I did a 10k transfer, it never went through, a month later, I did another transfer, and both amounts went through at the same time, which I was charged for insufficient funds. Called regarding the charge, I was told by Kenisha “it is not our fault”. When I opened the CD, I told Bill to let me know when it matures, he said okay. He never called nor emailed, just automatically renewed another 3 month CD without my permission. I said I called when it was maturing, and your phone operator told me someone from your branch will call to help me with it, no one ever called. Kenisha said, I will look into it, but your CD will mature in Oct. You can also go into a local branch to sign and have it released. Well I was told by Bill that I can e-sign it, I guess not.
