I reached out to LBS about their courses and was pressured almost instantly to sign up and pay money over the phone. I was interested in signing up for the "master course" ($1350) which includes the job placement program and certification, so I did sign up and was pressured into signing the waiver without proper time to read it over and was not given the information that a refund would not be warranted if I decided to cancel. So I paid half ($675) up front on the phone with a payment plan to cover the rest. After signing up they told me that the bar kit is nonrefundable and wouldn't be cancelled if I received the shipping information. I never received the confirmation that it was sent to me. Now after finding another course that is less than half the price of LBS I wished to cancel and have the money refunded, or at last a partial refund since there were no lessons gained or appointments scheduled to do a lesson. I was told they would not refund me and they'd "have to stick to their policy on this one" which is absurd since I have to pay rent and buy my family's basic needs. So I am currently in talks with them to get that money back but it does not look like that is going to happen. My friend also signed up and was pressured into giving $1200 over the phone, and now that's a total of $1875 that me and my friend are out just to cancel this service within 2-3 days of signing up. I feel completely taken advantage of and feel that the only way to resolve this is to give this place a bad review. Don't sign up if you want to be screwed over like me and my friend.
