My complaint is: About 3 years ago I went to La Estetica on W. Sahara for a hair-cut. All of the signs, and business cards say $5.00 for men and boys hair-cuts When I payed for it, I only had a $10. bill. She didn't give me any change, and when I asked for it my change she said "No change, it's $10." I said no, it's $5.00, and she refused to give me the change. I argued a little to no avail, and walked out thinking that I couldn't do anything about it. I went to other La Estetica's over the last 3 years during the pandemic. Most of them went up to $5.99. More recently, they changed it to $6.00 even. But at every location (about 4 that I went to), they still advertise $5.00 on all of the signs outside, and on their business cards inside. Anyway, a few days ago I was closer to the Sahara location, so I went there again, thinking that it wouldn't happen again, (that I wouldn't get change for a bigger bill.) Anyway, I didn't have anything less than a $10. and sure enough, she wouldn't give me change. She said "Oh, we changed it because of the pandemic". I said "then you need to change your signs and business cards" and walked out disgusted again, and mad at myself for going back to that same location again. I stopped at another location yesterday just to go in and ask how much the hair-cuts are. My answer was $6.00. So, I'm sure that this one location on Sahara is cheating people out of their money, and have been doing it for a long time. I don't know if this is Fraud or Extorsion, but I do feel strongly that whoever runs this location is telling their employee's to do this. I believe this because the girls there this time were different from the ones that were there 3 years ago. I also don't know if I can file a police report, because what they are doing is wrong, and I don't know what I can do. That's why I tried calling you guys. You told me to write out my complaint, and you'll take it from here. So I'll be hoping to hear back from you on this. Also if you can tell me what, if anything else, I can do to report this, I'd appreciate it. I am a senior on Social Security as my only income, and that's why I go to a place like this for a $5.00 hair-cut. Sincerely **************** (***) ********
