I contacted a company that I believed was ***************************** via ****** to have my floors cleaned. On 5/17/23, the technician arrived to my house. After about an hour, I had not received a call confirming the pricing of the rest of the flooring or what work was taking place. I called the office of the company 3 times within about a 2-hour time frame and was told that the technician would call me as soon as possible. I received a call from the technician who told me that he had completed the work and was demanding payment. I told him that I had never approved any work or pricing and that I was not comfortable providing payment until I spoke to the office. The technician told me that HE was ***************************** and that I would only be able to talk to him. He then insulted my marriage & then threatened to go back into my house and begin vandalizing the property. I immediately called the ***************************** office and they told me that they would tell the technician to leave and that he would not damage my property. I agreed to pay for the two services that I had agreed to when scheduling the appointment, which would be $138 in total. My credit card was then charged $235 and I was never provided a receipt. The technician fled from the scene by getting into his van and sped off. When my husband walked into the home, it was clear that the technician had taken the dirty water he had cleaned from the carpets and splashed it all over my kitchen and bedrooms and threw trash everywhere. I eventually got ahold of ***************************** corporate, who explained to me that there is a fraudulent company, who goes by Stainless Steamer, who is impersonating them and has linked themselves to ******************************* ****** results. They said that it was an ongoing issue and that they had heard from multiple customers that this company had taken advantage of them and done damage to their homes.
