Date of Transaction: 12/14/2022 Amount of Money Paid: $3,200 Business Commitment: Demo of old Countertop, Replacement of new Countertop, Repair of damage done during job, and full cleanup and removal of debris including haul away of old stone Nature of Dispute: Contractor failed to complete job, fix damage they created, haul away debris and old stone, and after 22 attempts to contact them resolve the issue in any fashion at all. Has Business Tried to Resolve: No, I have gotten hold of them twice in a month when each time they promised to be out the next day and never showed up. Speaking on facts only and completely ignoring the unprofessionalism of the late drunk phone calls and texts to my wife; we contracted them for a full countertop refresh and paid them a premium amount for the demo, refresh, and cleanup. Unfortunately, the son showed up high and the job was completed with torn drywall that's conjoined with the countertops. There was additionally 2 inches of drywall under the counter that never got fixed which now created a gap that needed to be addressed. Lastly, they left the old granite in my garage promising to pick it up the next day. Its now been over a month and upon being blocked by Edgar and ignored by Leonard, I can tell you the entire ****** family in this business is not suited to run a business let alone a lemonade stand. I am $3500 out of pocket for a shoddy job that has me questioning whether they are really licensed. Albeit said, I am now pursuing full litigation against the company as the father (owner) is nowhere to be found and likely the only individual who cares about the business. At the bare minimum my goal is to prevent any other consumer needing a contractor from dealing with this issue. To give you context, I am an experienced and successful entrepreneur with homes in multiple states- I expect the bare minimum when it comes to contractors; just do the job! When you fail at that, then there's no choice left.
