PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! One of their sales agents called me repeatedly 3 or 4 times per week for about 4 months getting me to switch over to them. Finally one day, I wasn't too busy with clients, I gave her my time. She told me they only charge a flat 1.2% of your totaled monthly income. So $10k would be $120 fee, $20k would be $240 and so forth. Nowhere will you find a deal like that and I made the moved. After a month and a half, I saw the fees were a bit high....after calculations, it came out to be around 2.8% or more. I showed the contract to a friend that is in the credit card processing business and he told me this company tricked me badly!!! Yes, the agent was true about the 1.2%. BUT, she wasn't truthful saying that it's 1.2% OVER THE INTERCHANGE COST OF SPECIFIC CARDS. I called and told them they lied to me and I wanted to closed the account. After trying to get me to stay, saying they will do this and that, I said no! You guys lied to me from the beginning, why should I continue? The guy I spoke to got mad and said I have to pay a fee for breaking the contract. Which they DIDN'T PUT IN WRITING ON THE CONTRACT WAS YOU HAVE TO STAY WITH THEM FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS. He calculated everything and said all the fees tackled on to the remaining months of my contact came out to be around $4,900!!! KEEP IN MIND THE INDUSTRY STANDARD EARLY TERMINATION FEE IS ABOUT $295. So now I'm stuck with them for the next 2 years and 10 months, pay them a monthly fee of $30. Hell, I figured $1,080 is a lot better than $4,900. I'm someone who doesn't liked to leave bad reviews for anyone because I too have a small business. If I don't like you, I will take my business elsewhere. But, I have to put this out so others after me will not be tricked!!!!MBNCARD Services Response

This correspondence is in response to the BBB Complaint. Upon receipt, a review of the merchant account was performed. The terms and conditions of the parties' commercial relationship are contained in the Merchant Agreement entered into between the parties. In order to obtain a merchant account from Merchants Bancard Network (MBN), Thao Pham indicated acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Merchant Processing Agreement (MPA) by signing our agreement and her continuance to process credit card transactions. The MPA indicates the early termination fee. Our records indicate we received a customer service phone called regarding closure on May 8, 2024. The merchant indicated that they wanted to close because the gift cards they had would not integrate with our systems. The merchant continued to process until May 22, 2024. MBN will reduce the termination fee to $495, and waive all other closure fees. Please send a written and signed closure request to [email protected]. In summary, MBN has acted, and continues to act, pursuant to the commercial agreement entered into between the parties. Worst company iv done business with. I am struggling to cancel them though iv sent requests and called many times for several months. Each time they run me through some speech that it's being sent to management. I will be filing a complaint and reporting them to my bank as they continue to charge me. Do not ever use this company! Untrustworthy and were problematic the entire time I used them but I was stuck in a contract. I would not trust this company with your businesses card processing.MBNCARD Services Response

The merchant continued to process until November and therefore we could not close the account. We have closed the merchant account so merchant will not be billed processing fees any longer. In addition, we refunded December and January monthly fees to the merchant on 2/14/2023. In summary, MBN has acted, and continues to act, pursuant to the commercial agreement entered into between the parties. So many people, especially my family always create pressure on my finance. They've been disappointed to me in the past and I don't understand how to start. I have been fed the wrong information their whole lives and now find myself with no money from my investments and struggling to make ends meet. I am stressed out, feel uncertain about the future, are frustrated, feel depressed. Fortunately, I find MBNcard and they change my life, I am starting over again, open business, get more sales, hire more staffs, training staffs and create a culture that my staffs love my business, love customer and do outstanding services for customer.
