Ive been using Kovo reporting for about a year, a couple of months ago they closed my account and then asked me if I would like to reopen another one, I agree. A month with pass, and I realized I was being charged for two accounts l. 20 dollars a month now and I was originally paying 10. I emailed them immediately in January and ask them what this extra $10 was for they told me it was for a back payment. So I ignored it. And another month went by and I contacted him again because I seen it was $20. The representative kept on avoiding what I was asking. To come and find out they enrolled me in two programs. So I told them I never wanted to be enrolled into programs and they said well you agreed to the terms. Im pretty upset because I never agreed to be paying 10 extra dollars for literally nothing. I get no extra perks or nothing. So I asked them to close it because I asked them in January with this was about and they did not tell me it was for this because I wouldve told them to close it then. They told me they only allow 30 days for a refund and for the account to be closed without a derogatory remark. I told them that I emailed them consistently about this account and they refuse to listen to what I said. Im contacting you guys because I seen that other people also got hassle the same way I did and I dont think its fair. Of course I dont want a derogatory remark on my credit report, but I refuse to pay an extra $10 for absolutely nothing.Business Response

Every complaint is the same! KOVO IS COMMITTING FRAUD! Please join a lawsuit with me. They do not care if someone has stolen your identity and opened up an account with them. I have been a victim of identity, theft. And now I am a victim of KOVO and I cant get out of it.! kovo credit builder reports inaccurate information to credit bureaus. The inaccurate information includes false payment history, Inaccurate balances, and failure to respond to possible identity theft.blah you cannot get a hold of any person by phone. They will not speak to you by phone at all. You must text and type out everything to them. I have tried toget a live person on the phone and it has failed every single time. These people charged me every month for nothing I was paying for air. They have reported credit and have caused more damage. I did not get a refund after I emailed them for a refund I no longer wanted their service. This is a scam system. I have had enough of their reporting for nothing. remove this from my credit report. created an account, added a card to make the payment and set it up on autopay. They CHANGED the whole place that my account was housed and did not transfer my data to the new location. Never informed me that I needed to login to reupload my payment information and it turns out not one of my monthly payments (of $10) was made. However, I was charged $40 a month for 6 months in late payment fees which were then reports on my credit report. I was NEVER informed of a late payment, late fees or anything about the app where my data was housed being moved. I NEED someone to speak to me a remove my entire account from their system and my credit report.Business Response

Kovo is reporting my account as delinquent on my credit reports despite the fact that I fully paid off this account on 12-09-2024 and per their own virtual assistant the account is paid in full and closed. on may 29 2024 I received a notification of a a settlement on my account and they closed my account at the 3 bureau agencies that affected my credit significantly and damaged my credit reputation, this is a mistake on your part since I have my automatic payments and their system does not work correctly, it does not have support and I try to communicate on several occasions and it is impossible, it does not respond, every time I make the manual payment I receive a notification from my bank, **** of America, saying if I authorized this transaction, the **** of America takes it as a fraudulent transaction. I don't know what system you use, but it ***** the punctuality of the payments and it shouldn't be like that if I have them in automatic payment, an error on your part is harming my credit and I ask that you They reversed that late payment **** on my credit report immediately and I need a response from you as quickly as possible.Business Response

Kovo *** is a scam and they have violated several laws. Theyll send you a payment reminder a day before the payment is due. This is in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1666b - Timing of payments. *** tried to close this account and pay it in full s***e October of last year. Nobody responds to the emails and you cant reach a live representative. They keep reporting late payments on my report which caused my credit to drop significantly and is also inaccurate.
