      I signed up for Las Vegas Matchmakers in March 2023. I was made a bunch of promises regarding the type of men they had to set me up on dates with. They had me set Dealbreakers and promised to follow them. When it came to pricing she said she could give discounts if I fit a demographic they needed. She input information into her computer and gave me a monthly price quote I agreed to and she e signed the paperwork without me looking at her computer. I had no clue until she printed the forms (already e signed) she had opened a loan for me with a high interest rate. I thought it was a monthly service fee I could cancel. She wouldnt give me a copy of any paperwork that showed me what was included. She promised me counseling services which turned out to be a one time session that was mainly another sales pitch to add extra services. On the second match I received, I wrote an email about him breaking major deal breakers for me and how I wanted to cancel. I was told by my matchmaker I couldnt cancel. I asked to talk to a supervisor and there wasnt one available. And a supervisor didnt call me back. The matchmaker said she talked to her supervisor and there was nothing they could do, so she promised to do better with matches. After 2 more matches that broke my preferences and were nothing close to what was described to me I again sent an email asking for my money back. The matchmaker called and said she was confused and all these guys werent telling her what they told me. I told her I wanted my money back and I wanted to talk to a supervisor. It has been a week now and no one will call or email me back. The loan was for $4,000 total when I thought I was just paying $170 a month. I read through all the paperwork I was provided, nothing specifically says I cant cancel. I am requesting a refund for services not provided and would like to speak to someone in charge of all the employees that have lied to me.

      The cancellation policy is clearly covered in the executed contract.  It states that the contract and total contract price is non-cancelable and non-refundable.  ****************** initialed at the conclusion of the policy that she read and understood it.  In addition, the total purchase price is clearly written on the executed contract as well.  The contract is signed and initialed with live signatures.  In addition, we have every customer initial and sign the financing contract.  There is a live signature next to every docusign signature.  This is an additional step we take to ensure that every new member is clearly aware of and accepting of the contract. 

      ****************** has received four of her purchased eight introductions.  She rated her first introduction as excellent and gave very positive feedback with no negative feedback.  She did not like her second introduction as she felt she was much more social than he was.  She gave positive feedback on her third introduction and told us that everything was going well until he told her that he didn't like camping and that is something she enjoys.  She gave average feedback on her fourth match but didn't like that he didn't enjoy hiking which is something she enjoys.  We received this feedback last week and are searching for her next introduction.

      We have already informed ****************** that her membership fee is non-refundable.  We will continue working with her until we have fulfilled all of our contractual obligations.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I was verbally told they would not match me with anyone who broke my deal-breakers. My main deal breaker is drug use. The second guy was a huge pot smoker.

      I was verbally told they were going to find my dream guy and the one who is perfect for me. But I havent had anything in common with anyone except the first guy and they showed me his FULL profile including his Driver License in the office! I was NEVER told I only get 8 dates until this response right now! I was never given any copy of what was included in the package ever! This entire thing is a scam and they know its a scam because the lady on the phone knew every thing to say against my arguments with the contracts. I dont know how you sleep at night. I could never work for a company that swindles people out of thousands of dollars when all we want is happiness. Then you twist words and say that my wants are too specific because I like to camp and you cant find one guy who wants to camp, but instead you tell me the guys tell you they like to camp but are telling me they dont like to camp because theyve decided they dont like me. Youre company is so full of s*** its ridiculous

      The contract is clear that we will match our members with other members of our service who, in our sole opinion, most closely fit their profile requests while doing the same for the other party.  Unfortunately, the rest of the response is simply the client throwing insults at us which will never be productive.

      I was contacted June 13, 2022 by LV Matchmakers. I had about a 20 minute discussion with the telephone woman, who told me that the company has upscale pool of men, that it is very tightly vetted, and that the quality is top notch. I followed up with an appt with Iris, on June 22. We had a 2 hour interview. I had been romance scammed in 2021 for over $300K. I expressed how I was very careful and wanted to select from a great pool of men. She expressed to me that top quality men were a part of their program, NFL football players, attorneys, doctors, (to name a few). She emphasized that this program had the kind of men I was seeking. Spiritual, healthy, educated, fun, and we went through all of it. She told me that the men pay $25,000 and more. She popped out a cost and it was $7000. I wasn't expecting that, but she assured me that the money would not be wasted, we would go to work! While Iris was explaining the system, she slid the contract in front of me, and I signed it. She didn't say "read this, my words are different than the writing." I'm in a business of contracts, and my clients sign as I narrate the terms of the agreement. It is our duty to make sure that the client is aware of what they are signing. Iris enticed me into thinking there were some powerful men, in their pool. After about 10 days, I got a "date". The man spoke via text, and I discovered he was just divorced. He was heartbroken. I still talked him into meeting. He smoked, he drank, and he wasn't spiritual. All things opposite of me. He paid $2500, not $25,000. I went back to them, said "get me another date," and she told me "nobody was in the pool" they're all on dates! I requested 8 times to discuss a refund. Over 8 weeks. Then, I go to cancel, and they refuse. Their contract reads, "they may not have dates available". Had I known this, I wouldn't have signed! They only want the money. This company lies to get you in. They charged another gal, $5000, me $7000, man $2500.

      Please see document ************* to see whole explanation. To whom it may concern: I signed up for Las Vegas Matchmakers, Llc or on around 4/18/2022. After an interview process. During such process with the matchmakers Iriss and Vanessa, their services were sold to me upfront with a clear understanding of what I was looking for and they promised to deliver matches which met a strict requirement in terms of profile, etc. At the initial meeting, the matchmaker Iriss said she has several candidates ready and waiting and that I would be a great match for them. Shortly after paying, I was matched with a person. During the initial sign up, I was clear on the candidate profile of what I was seeking. Las Vegas Matchmakers advised that all candidates are clearly pre-screened, and they go through rigorous checks to ensure that I would be paired with a quality candidate. On or around 4/26/2022, I was contacted by the company that they had a match for me. The company provides in their blanketed contract to release them of anything that occurs when one signs up. However, they have an obligation to the safety of their clients. The term of service provides them to match based on their sole discretion. After being contacted I was provided a phone number to a match. During the enrollment process there are strict guidelines of communication when participating. The match was provided my contact information as well. Just a few days later the match contacted me, and we arranged a meet up. From there, this pre-vetted match then sent image to me, text me and sent various harassing messages. I immediately contacted the matchmaker and after waiting days they ignored my communications. I then sent follow up, provided them messages, and advised that if this is the quality matches they provide, it is unacceptable. Further, not to mention the client's safety. The messages were erratic and had I met up with this match, I could have been in grave danger.

We are saddened to hear that she is giving up so quickly after only receiving one match (that she did not meet) and was only active with us for 3 weeks. We would like to address these complaints in an effort to resolve her concerns. Ms. ****** enrolled into our service on April 18, 2022. She was sent her first introduction on April 26th. Upon receiving her complaints about the match via email on April 29, we contacted her to review her concerns. She sent screenshots of the text messages she received from her match. He sent her a profile picture, then asked when they could get together again. When she did not respond, he asked if it was because of his picture, asking "if my face is not what you are looking for, can you please let me know right away". He went on to insecurely cancel the date they arranged, saying "I never should have sent that pic". She responded saying "my boss came into my office, that's why I didn't respond to you right away" and ultimately, the two agreed not to meet. We would like to inform Ms. ****** that, while we run background investigations, we cannot control human behavior. A person electing to send a profile picture and too many texts is beyond our control. On May 10th, when we called her to review a new match, she demanded her money back and requested to speak with a manager. The manager reached out on May 11th and left a message. The manager called again on May 12th and spoke with Ms. ******. After listening to her concerns, the manager offered to extend her a free match as an effort to resolve her concerns. Ms. ****** declined our offer and decided not to use the program she invested in. The manager extended her three months of hold time and encouraged her to contact us in the future. Ms. ******** membership is not eligible for cancellation nor refund. She has 5 introductions remaining on her original membership. As offered on May 12th, we would be happy to extend her a free match so that we can move forward. If she is interested in accepting this, we encourage her to contact our team so that we can match her again. It was agreed not to meet because the match was hostile after sending a pic. If that was the first match, I am requesting a cancellation because clearly they match others with unstable people who could cause potential harm. No, I will not take more matches because it is a fraud company that doesn't care about client safety. They certainly did offer a match, but who would be comfortable meeting matches, especially when the first person they alleged was the "best match we have one for you right now", urged a sign up, payment, provided a discount to get a contract only to set someone up with a potential safety issue. There is no trust in this company and I demand a refund still. Why would I extend a program for more months when the company is a scam, fraud, and doesn't pay attention to client safety? Please kindly refund the monies as we both know you all did nothing to earn this except scam a customer. I will also provide this information to the Attorney General, to see how they think your business practices are lawful.       Joined LVMM's 8/2020 for $6000 for multiple matches . Never heard from 1st match. Did request a few allowed changes to my profile, after I was contacted about a match that was a smoker, and I did realize I wanted to stay within my race. Had 2 calls about caucasian males one that I spoke to and thought were were going to meet and then another caucasian who decided he did not want to see anyone who is vaccinated. So after over 1 year have not actually met anyone. I do understand that this is a difficult time with Covid. The big issues are that you do not have any rights when dealing with this company, as there is a paragraph in the contract that says once you agree to accepting the 1st match you are not eligible for ANY REFUND. Amazing how they can use this to their benefit only, and leave many unsatisfied/out of significant amount of $ clients. They have no time limit for when your matches can take place, but yet they want full payment on signing up. They can string you along saying they have a match- that you may never speak with....You cannot speak to anyone above the "matchmakers" to express your frustration or request a partial refund for their lack of service. I asked to speak to someone at the corporate level and was told that is not possible-that they trust their employees to take care of client needs (if that was the case, I would not be submitting this complaint)I have worked with several "above the matchmakers" who say they are sorry that someone has dropped the ball on you, and that they personally will make routine contact with you in attempts to match you. They will call you when you are not available and if they do not speak with you within 3 calls-they put your account on hold. They string you along and along, and have nothing to worry about as you have no recourse for them not doing what they say they will regarding them communicating with you, problem solving, etc...Very poor customer service and no delivery of what is promised.

We understand and recognize that the frequency of matches have not been as consistent as we intend. Since enrolling, she has declined 2 matches and 3 matches have declined her for various reasons. While we work very hard to solidify matches that are best for both parties, there is no guarantee that both parties will approve of the match selection. We selected a new match for her on January 12, 2022 and left a voicemail to review this match. We called her again on January 19th and reviewed the match, which she approved. We confirmed the match's availability and sent contact information to both parties the same day. Unfortunately, Ms. *******'s membership is not eligible for cancellation nor refund. We encourage her to meet this introduction and report in her feedback so that we can continue assisting her with her dating and relationship goals. I still do not understand why I cannot speak to anyone but a matchmaker to discuss the issue? I have never heard of such a thing. I feel corporate needs to know what is going on, as well as seeing the other complaints out on this BBB site. Again, you pay a lot of $ but have NO OPTIONS to discuss further.       I signed up for this service on September 30, 2021. I was provided a membership. The office staff now does not answer there telephone. I have left messages two and three times a day since Wednesday, October 14, 2021, and received no return calls. The person that met with me (Iriss) also does not answer her telephone. On Friday, October 15, 2021, I sent Iriss a series of text messages. As Iriss communicated she stated that she was out of town until Tuesday, October 19, 2021. When I asked to arrange a meeting with her and her director, I was informed that the director is in Los Angeles and not available. At this point, I believe the company is a fraud, When they have the clients money, they no longer take calls and stop or block communication with the client. I read other complaints about this same company on the BBB website. It appears to me the company is riddled with ethical complaints. I have already contacted **************** and filed a formal complaint with them..

He returned our call leaving a message for us. We returned his call yesterday, again leaving a message for him. I verified these calls through our phone records. Our matchmakers spend most of their time talking with our clients by phone. They are not always available if they are on the phone with another customer. It is always our goal to return calls in a reasonable amount of time. Mr. ********'s membership is not eligible for any refund. We will continue to try to reach him concerning his new match. I have received only two messages from them; however, when you call there phone number, (XXX) XXX-XXXX, I can only leave a message and wait patiently for a return call hat never happens. I actually have a call log also since 10/14/2021, where I have left message after message, even asking to speak to a manager. No services have been rendered and the sales person (Iriss) completely misrepresented of what was sold to me. Not one of the six-matches have been fulfilled. I asked Iriss to have a manager call me regarding my complaint. I do have copy of an emails from Iriss written by Heather ***** In they email the manager states the company has tried to reach me. Once again the company does not return calls to its clients. Please review the other complaints about this same organization on your website. When I tried calling Iriss she does not answer calls. She does text back. When I demanded to speak with a manager of the company, Iriss refused. She stated in her text that she was following company policy by not allowing me to speak directly to a manager, or provide me with a direct phone number to call a manager from the company. Las Vegas Matchmakers operates in a fraudulent way by misrepresentation, and fraud. When they receive your money calls are never returned to the client. They can state that a MATCH was made, but the question here is where is this mysterious Female profile. I don't believe there is one. If there is produce it! We are eager to review this match selection with the hopes of introducing him to her. The match selected is youthful, active, cares for herself, local, successful and stable. As stated previously, his membership is not eligible for cancellation nor refund.

      I was sold a dating service by Las Vegas Matchmakers herein "Service" and represented by Megan with my contract starting in February 2020 of which I was introduced to one individual that did not fit any of my prerequisites although there was a verbal guarantee that all candidates would exceed my requirements due to your decades long experience and large pool of national candidates. The Service also states that "thorough due diligence including background, criminal, credit checks and marital status would be confirmed free and clear. However, the first and only individual you presented as a candidate is still married! Covid started March 2020 and they stated the account will be frozen. I asked for my money back then and no answer. My multiple attempts to ask for updates to my service and a refund were ignored. The Service represents itself as having all these elite singles when they do not have any candidates as mentioned. They are scammers and committing fraud.

We left messages on 5/12, and 5/13 as well with no return call. Ms. ****** emailed us on 6/17 threatening legal action. We called and texted her that day with no success. She sent an email the next day requesting a refund. We called again and sent the client an email trying to reach her to address her concerns. We were met with an email threatening legal action. We, once again, called the client to try to speak with her, but had no success. We tried again on 6/23 with no success. The client's claim that she has asked for updates to her service and was ignored is simply an untrue claim. She has two remaining introductions which we will gladly provide upon her electing to utilize the remainder of her membership. However, her membership is not eligible for any refund. As stated in our previous reply, her membership fee is not eligible for any refund.
