I had EE and C come to my home and install a electric wall charger for my Tesla. They told me that they would pull the permit and get it inspected within just a few weeks. They did the work and I paid them $1,250. When they left I asked why I hadn't been given the details on the permit or inspection and they said it would be a few more weeks. Then they disappeared. Online it shows they are permanently closed. Now I am left with a charger and no permit or inspection.Initial Complaint

We have been trying to get in contact with this company, EEANDC, for the last couple of months and they never respond to us, every time I call, they never answer, and when I try to leave a message, it says their inbox is full. I drove all the way to their place of business and their office was empty; no one was there, and this was during business hours. So, I looked them up on ****** and their business says permanently closed. My reasoning for trying to contact EEANDC is because my lights are dimming, turning off and on, and I'm getting extremely high electric bills of $300. I'm only supposed to be paying ********* $11 a month. The whole point of having solar panels is to be saving money; I would really like for them to come and look at my solar panels and service them but there is no way to contact them. My next step was to contact the finance company which is Good Leap and they put a manager on the case. They have been on the case for over a month now; they can't seem to contact EEANDC either. Therefore, my last resort is to contact BBB to see if I could get some sort of help. I hope I can get a response, please and thank you.Initial Complaint

We used the solar company ********* to install solar panels in November of 2023. They sent us ****** to install the panels and add a critter guard in December 2023. After a few weeks, we realized the critter guard was improperly installed with holes around the edges, allowing pigeons to infest our roof under our panels and lay a nest, all the while spreading feathers and p*** around our home. After months of trying to get a resolution with the solar company *********, we were finally sent to ****** to try to have them come fix the critter guard. After trying to reach ****** for weeks, we found that they are "temporarily closed" per Yelp until February 2025. So it is now July of 2024 and we are left with no help and an improperly installed critter guard.Initial Complaint

EE&C installed solar panels on 11/3/23. My solar connected to the grid on 12/28/23. I referred **** and *********************** to EE&C on 11/15/23 (see screenshot of email offering $500 for a referral). A text from EE&C on 11/15/23 confirmed the referral and a $500 payment once her solar was installed (see screenshot of text). Jory and ****** solar panels were installed by EE&C on 3/7/24. A text from EE&C on 6/3/24 stated a $500 referral check will be mailed COB that day (see screenshot of text). I sent a text to EE&C on 6/12/24 stating I have not received a check. I sent additional texts to EE&C on 6/13/24, 6/17/24, 6/19/24, and 6/20/24. No response.I made phone calls directly to EE&C on 6/19/24 (I couldnt connect the solar app to my new wifi network), as well as twice on 6/20/24, and again on 6/21/24. I was not able to reach a live person nor leave a voicemail message due to, The mailbox is full. Message.I emailed the following request via the EE&C **************** website on 6/20/24:I can't get anyone to answer your phone and your mailbox is full so I can't leave a message. CONTACT me regarding the $500 referral fee you owe me now that the ***** Family of ******************* are installed and connected to the grid. I also called to ask for help changing the wifi network, but no one answers your phones. I am preparing to contact the BBB. What if I had a solar problem. How am I going to get any help???? No response by 7/2/24.I called again on 7/2/24 and was still unable to reach a live person nor leave a voicemail message due to, The mailbox is full. On 7/1/24 I checked Yelp for comments from other customers. They were all unhappy. Looking at the website on Yelp showed me they are temporarily closed and Scheduled to reopen on 2/28/25. Meanwhile, there is nothing on EE&Cs official website and I have nowhere to go to get service, even though Im under warranty.Customer response

At one point I saw a website stating EEANDC was closed until February 2025. Their website was taken down, as in it no longer exists. I just saw the attached map stating EEANDC is now permanently closed. Please change your rating. They don't answer phone calls or emails. I am stuck with solar panels that have a useless warranty under this company which is now out of business!!!Customer response

According to information on the internet (not directly from the company who has refused to return phone calls or emails), ********* is permanently closed. Their website no longer exists. You should not give this company a recommendation. They are not doing business!!Initial Complaint

My concern is that EE&C installed my solar panels, the work they did for the critter guards is poor which created an infestation of pigeons nesting in my roof. I have tried to call them but my calls go straight to voicemail, my main concern is that if I need warranty work done and they arent answering then I am stuck with issues on my panels.Initial Complaint

EE&C installed solar on my home In January of 2023. They misinformed me that it was on and operational. I was told in writing that I would be refunded for the time that it was not operational. I have been ignored for months, asking about my refund or an update on the project when I was originally told that it was operational, It was not. The system was not even turned to the on position. the company has lied and led me on for months. My system was not operational until October 2023. I am solely trying to get refunded for what I was told by their employees I would be refunded for.Business response
