They did a great job of water damage restoration. They worked well and quickly with my insurance, and in less than 2 months, repaired my condo. Ms. Lori and Ms. Vanessa were outstanding communicating and walking us through the process. Exelent tiles skils from their flooring team. Thank you so much

They were to provide services only to complete half of the work . I was given a bill months later I paid what the invoice said ,but they put a Lien on my property stating they will not remove lien until i pay past due late charges.. i was not made aware of late feeds until after i paid . Now they say the late feeds are accumulating 7% daily and the balance is outrageously High all i want is the lien removed they were more part of the problem than the solution.

Carrasco # 130 had 1st-Mitigation Service on 3/10/2021, she called us back out for 2nd Mitigation Service on 3/24/2021 her Neighbor # 203 above her caused the water damage. She was dealing with the Neighbor Insurance Co.- Farmers, we charged late fees for non-payment after 30 days of work performed, Late Charges have incurred since 4/24/2021, The Insurance Co was dealing with both Homeowner's directly. They were responsible for paying the Contractor for work performed, Carrasco # 130 paid only for the 2 Mitigation Invoices on 9/27/2021 and refused to pay late fees charges, NOTE: We have been waiting from 4/24/2021 till 9/24/2021 THIS WAS 6 MONTHS OF NON-PAYMENT FROM Carrasco #130, so we placed a Mechanic Lien that was Recorded 9/14/2021 on her property. Carrasco has been trying to get Loans from Loan Depot, Closing USA, Flux credit all 3 Companies called/emailed us for Pay off amount, nothing ever transpired of this. She called the Contractor Board 4/26/2022 a year after the Mitigation Service was performed with a complaint against our License, and on  4/17/2023, we received notification from the Contractor Board there was NO VOILATION AGAINST OUR LICENSE, We received a call from her Attorney Rep on 3/11/2024 for another pay off amount, the Owner of the Business discounted this from 25K late fees to 6k he would accept, than we received the BBB review dated 3/14/2024, this has been going on for the past 3 years, we were only contracted to do the Mitigation Service only, NO Repair were performed, as the Insurance Co. has paid her and neighbor upstairs directly for the 2 claims on their Units. Carrasco- Attorney Rep stated she would rely the information to her client.

Bottom line- Carrasco #130 owes late fees, you cannot wait and pay ANY Company 6 months after that fact and not except have late charges will incur each month the balance is not paid per her signed contract with us, when we performed her 1st Mitigation Service.

This is our response to Carrasco # 103 above BBB complaint.

We disagree with her complaint concerning our file

When got the scope for the work, my husband and I had a hard time understanding it. Rafael&Hector were in charge and met with us to go over the scope. We made sure to confirm the scope reflected what we wanted and specifically asked if the cost of flooring was in the scope. We have Saltillo tile, hard to find, was told they would try their best to match it and confirmed flooring costs were included. When I asked about flooring timing, they said they'd find out. The day our work was supposedly complete, Hector tells me "Oh, sorry, flooring actually wasn't included. It's a separate bid, additional $5700. The work we had done already cost over 16K. Why would they wait to tell us? Why would I allow construction to begin if I was still waiting for a flooring bid? Now we are left with a dangerous mess of broken off tile and and metal studs in areas meant to be covered with flooring. They did not discuss with us what the options were if they couldn't match the tile but left pieces of the tile molding attached leading us to assume they had found a match. This is what prompted me to ask for an update. I had told them multiple times I hate this flooring and regular molding/different flooring was was absolutely fine. Adam the lead estimator acted like it was no big deal. He told me "some people put their foot in their mouth" when I asked him why I would be told flooring costs WERE included and how come they waited until the VERY end to say it wasn't. I asked to speak with the owner of the company and I was completely ignored. I asked again in email and again was ignored. In fact, I was told by Adam "ok you need to stop going over and over about the same thing". On my own, I found two email addresses for the owner, but they were returned. Because of not being able to contact the owner, we are going to go ahead and file a complaint. We also talked with our home insurance rep about not using them. This company is a nightmare.

My home experienced a leak in the laundry room, which caused damage to my floor, I went through my insurance and was extremely disappointed by the unprofessionalism, to start this job was to start early October 2022 and still is not complete stepping into January 2023. I had floors Vinyl flooring glued down before, now I have this that was just clicked together with no underlayment, or cleaning off the previous glue leaving a sticking noise and popping throughout the floor, I have messaged these men about these issues with no response until I reached out and made a complaint through the insurance company and then Samir Dupin the owner came to my home, kept cutting me off when I explained the issues I was having then asked me to sign a satisfaction agreement, When I expressed my discomfort and tried to call the insurance company, he got upset and called the flooring people who told him the same thing I did, He wanted to argue with me and force me to sign. so "He can get paid" I had to kick him out of my home, I have never had to do this in my life! I was with my kids while my husband was at work and was scared at this man being so condescending and rude, with him only escalating things. I have cameras around my house, and I have all this on video! DO NOT HIRE WITH THEM!!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!

My guest bathroom experienced some leaks into it from three floors above & All American Repair Services came in to evaluate the cost of the repair. To do this they ripped out 6' x 8' of drywall and the built in 1-sink vanity in November 2021. They said they would submit the cost of the evaluation work to my insurance and also provide me with a quote for repair plus the extensive remodel work (over $100,000) that I wanted done. After multiple calls I they finally sent the president of the company (Damir *****) who said he would get back to me about the repairs & remodel. He never did, despite more calls. I finally heard from another resident 2 floors above me who had damage from the same leak) that Damir said the job was too small & wouldn't do it. I received absolutely NO communication from All American until Jan 8 2022 with a notice of Intent to Record a Lien against my property in the amount of $2,128.65. This was an amount of $279.44 over the amount they had just reported (finally!) to my insurance company. In addition, they charged over $300 for removing and resetting my toilet, but they did NOT do this, so I suspect they also overcharged for other work they claim to have done. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS UNREPUTABLE AND UNSCRUPPULOUS COMPANY: THEY DON'T DO THE WORK THEY SIGN UP FOR AND OVERCHARGE FOR THE WORK THEY DO!

1.Delay waiting for a plumber (since AARS couldn't provide one at the time they did the work!) to replace stuck valves was only a few days.
      2. I still have never received an itemized bill from AARS for supposed work that was performed. Insurance company finally paid $849.21 to me yesterday, January 11, 2022 with direct deposit to my account. I realize that it isn't the fault of AARS that my insurance company is tardy in paying me, but it is completely inappropriate of AARS to submit a 15-day intent to lien notice with no opportunity for me to even know that they've submitted a bill for payment. This threatening action, which from other on-line reviews seems to be a common mode of operation for AARS, requires more than an apology to fix this with me.
      3. AARS over-billed for some work. For example, claiming that my toilet was removed and reset for over $300. Pretty sure that is fraud!

      Customer Response

      01/12/2022

Since I haven't formally received from AARS any accounting for the mitigation work performed, I'd like to rescind my final point number 3 regarding AARS over-billed work as it is a serious accusation. This information was only from a phone conversation with my insurance adjuster & I may have misunderstood her or she may have been mistaken.

      Horrible all the way around.

We placed an insurance claim at the end May 2021 for a broken pipe underneath the slab in the kitchen. It was confirmed by a company who deals with leaks that the hot water pipe busted underneath the slab per their protocol that an asbestos test must be performed before any demolition can be done. The test was performed in the kitchen, kitchen wall, dining room wall, the ceiling in the kitchen, living room and dining room. It was suggested by the insurance adjuster to reroute the pipes as it would be fully covered vs breaking through slab and we would have to pay out of pocket. We agreed to reroute. The leak company suggested to reroute through the wall of the kitchen into the ceiling of the living room to the water heater located in the garage.
The results for asbestos took about a 3-4 days and it was confirmed that the popcorn in the ceiling was hot for asbestos. Due to the living room and dining room ceiling was all connected as one with no breaks in between they had to remove the entire ceiling. Once he removes the asbestos the final stage consists of an air test to ensure no active asbestos is in the air, that usually 3-4 days. They had to send a proposal in and then it needs to be posted for 10 days first before he can start the removal. It took about 3 weeks for the "all clear" and deemed to be a safe environment to work in. We were notified on the last day of the removal that we are in the final stage. As we were calling around to get 3 quotes for 3-4 days for a general contractor we called the asbestos guy on the 4th day to ask what day can we send the general contractor to give us estimates. It was told to my husband that the work was given to this company All American Contractor Inc (AACI) and he had started the process on the 3rd and they are putting in the drywall already. We were completely confused but relieved at the same time as we thought that this will lessen our time being in a hotel and agreed for them to continue the process. We asked our asbestos guy to provide us a valid number and name of who we could contact because we would like to put our input in for the new cabinetry and see the options they may have.
We called the number given, numerous times, text and left voicemails in June. No response or a call back for over 2 months. We called for 2 reasons: when will they start the demo of the cabinets on the other side of the kitchen and we would like the option to choose what kind of new cabinets we would like. If our choice was more than what the insurance company would pay then we were willing to pay out of pocket for any outstanding amount. However, we were never given the opportunity to put our 2 cents in or the courtesy of a returned phone call.
Two and half months later, we received a phone call from the project manager asking if it was possible to turn off the house alarm to allow his worker to place some of the cabinets in the house? At this point we were totally confused and frustrated that we did not have the opportunity as home owners to choose what cabinets were being placed in our home, let alone that the cabinets were ordered. My husband agreed to meet them at the house the next day to see the cabinets that was chosen without anything being discussed or approved.
My husband witness the workers lug in the new cabinet boxes with our old soiled faces and he immediately called me and asked why are they installing old cabinets? I had him take pictures of everything and send the photos over text. It so happened that my insurance adjuster called within minutes of this transpiring. She called to inform us that she followed up with AACI with the status of the cabinets. The receptionist at AACI's confirmed the shipment came in last week and they will call for installation date. And she would love our feedback on our new remodeled kitchen. I said new remodeled kitchen? Sadly to say they are at the house now installing our old cabinets! If new cabinets consists of new boxes and our old faces then I can assure you I don't like our new modeled kitchen. My insurance adjuster yelped "no, I approved a new quote on August 5th and sent the adjusted email for upper and lowers when she was advised by asbestos guy that he had to throw out some faces and it is impossible to find matching doors as these doors were made around 1980." I rushed my adjuster off the phone and called my husband back to stop the process.
My husband asked the 2 workers what happened to the new cabinets? Don't tack down another box until I get confirmation. The workers did not speak English too well and said to call the project manager, so I did. The project manager stated that he is working within the scopes that insurance company approved. I said no your not, I just got off the phone with my adjuster and she approved new upper and lowers on August 5th. He said that he would call the office to see if one was sent and return my call in 10 minutes. Within 5 minutes or less I went on my insurance app and screenshot the updated documents and sent it through text to him. The project manager called me back seconds later and said that I would have to call the owner and forward the screenshot to him to sort out the mistake however he is currently on vacation and will probably return my call upon his return on Tuesday (I believe it was Thursday when this occurred)
I called the owner and left a message that very day and surprisingly he called me on the following Monday, a day early. I had the same conversation that I had with the project manager with him and forwarded him the same screenshots. He too claims that they did not receive any updates. I then proceeded to ask why hasn't he returned my calls from 2 months ago because we wanted the option to chose our cabinets and pay out of pocket if needed. He reply, he didn't see a reason for him to call back a couple months back because he abides by scope of the insurance company however it's not past practice to notify the home owner. Completely irate i advised him that he must be joking and expressed how I truly feel like we are being scammed. Plus the boxes he tacked down already does not have the appearance of being shipped as the wood was cut unevenly, the back portion of the box is cracked/breaking due to using the wrong nails and/or screwing them in too far. (If I could attach photos to this review of what they attempted to install in our house, I would. Supposedly they made 2 faces that did not match our existing faces but was told they did their best to match but was never shown the faces to see for ourselves). The business owner claims he did not receive it nor is he trying to scam me but he would look into himself and call me back. I received a text within an hour or so that the office in fact did not receive an update from insurance company at all. I immediately called my adjuster and asked if she could send the email chain of the new quote that she sent to AACI. Within an hour I received the email and I sent the business owner a screenshot of the email chain on 8/5/2021. He then called me back and said allow him to fix the mistake as the email was overlooked however it would be another 2 months to have the order shipped from the magazine. I truly lost it and and asked him if he has ever resided in a hotel for 4 months when he has an entire home located in Las Vegas that you pay mortgage for monthly but can't utilize it! Now you want to make it 6 months?! No sir, I refuse to call my adjuster to extend it for the 4th time. Plus to top it off you have me subjected to contract Covid-19 due to being in a hotel that has high volumes of vacationers. [Fun fact: On 9/11/21 I was positive for Covid-19. On 9/21/21 I was cleared of the virus but ended up in the hospital that very night for my first experience of a kidney stone that was 10mm, no fault of him. The kidney stone was abnormally big that it stopped the flow of my urinary tract, in which, I had to have an emergency procedure done to place a bag through my back to release the pressure and drainage].
However the owner of AACI called me back within 20-30 minutes and said I have another solution for you. We can keep those cabinets we recently installed and place a temporary sink in so you can at least go back home and have a functional kitchen until I can get my cabinet guy out there and chose my desired cabinets. Just give him a few to call him and ask when he is available and to have his worker will leave samples that he has on hand. It seemed reasonable so I agreed to the temp sink and cabinets and requested it in writing of our agreement. Received email of agreement that same night.
The worker dismantled the tacked down cabinet boxes on the right side but left the cabinet box on the left side with no counter top. I have a small counter top that holds a coffee maker, sugar and creamer only that is no use for anything but that. He placed a temp bathroom sink in the kitchen. He left a single unpainted cabinet box with a small brown and white door and said there were a total of four colors but he would drop the other 2 colors (gray and black) later that night at the front door before he goes home for the night, it never happened! The business owner text back about an hour later and asked if we were available the following week on Monday, exactly 7 days, around 10am for the cabinet guy to show us the magazine. We agreed again.
The following Monday 9/20/21 comes and go and the cabinet guy does a no call/no show. Text the owner again at 12pm and asked if he was coming or not to the house? He replied let me call and I'll get back. He doesn't call me or text back with an update on Monday.
The business owner called on 9/21/21 and was upset because didn't return his call until 09/27/21. I don't know maybe because I was hospitalized and needed to have surgery to have a bag placed in my back due to the stone being so abnormally big and not allowing the flow through my urinary tract.
That weekend my husband had enough at this point and called the business owner and cancelled his services as we gave him ample opportunity to fix it but it seemed that we were not top priority for him. They agreed to meet later on Monday in the evening to discuss matters.
09/27/21 my husband decided to stay at the house after his graveyard shift so he can have more time to sleep. The owner woke my husband in the morning hours (exactly 2 hours of him getting off) instead of the evening as stated. The owner has never been to our house until that very day. According to my husband when the business owner was able to turn the corner and see how much was not done he had a shocked look on his face. They exchanged thoughts and concerns but the audacity of the owner to ask my husband to pick a color for the cabinets and he'll have it done in less than 2 weeks. Really, you haven't kept your word from the beginning don't think it'll happen now! My husband said how do you expect me to pick cabinets with 2 doors? The owner states that he doesn't have a showroom floor but he has a magazine he can pick from. My husband replied if your cabinet guy would have showed up that last Monday as planned, I might have. Owner understands we no longer need his services and took the 2 doors with him as he left.
On 10/1/21 I finally check out of our hotel and came home to an unfinished kitchen, part of my sectional is in the dining room, the house is extremely dusty, dirty, ceiling fan they put back up in the dining room is partially broken, 1 of 2 blue is broke, cabinet box with no countertop sitting next to the temp sink, and my refrigerator plugged into an extension cord. The extension cord is plugged into the wall on the opposite side of where the oven is located. Unplugged the extension cord thinking they were lazy to hook it up on the wall where the refrigerator actually goes is inoperable, dead socket. It worked beforehand just fine.
Our current situation it's 10/6/21 and we are still waiting for the business owner to do a complete walk thru together to pay any amount owed. Needless to say our contract was not fulfilled nor will the business owner return our call to close out this horrible experience! If could rate them a negative star or none, I would.
