      We bought 2 recliners. Within a week one of the chairs started making loud noises when reclining and retracting. The chair made a constant sqeeky noise and the base was unstable. We were told that because we had the chair for over 3 days that we could not return the chair. After contacting Walker they sent a service repair man to service the chair. He said the base was not locked into position and fixed it, we thought. A week later while cleaning under the chair I saw a bolt that came from the chair. The chair was unstable and continued making terrible noises. The service repair man, again, came to see what the the issue was. After examining under the chairs base the repair man said that he had to order a "mechanism". After 10 days Walker Furniture Customer Service called to say that they ordered a new "mechanism" and that the repair part would have to be ordered from the manufacture and would take 12 weeks to get! So, here we are...new chairs one is fine and the other is a lemon. Walker Furniture has their money and we have a defective, unstable and unsafe piece of furniture. We have been in Las Vegas for over 60 years and WE WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM WALKER FURNITURE AGAIN!!! Michael and Sheila *****

      This is the 2nd time in 4 years that we chose Walker Furniture for our furnishings. We just moved to a larger home and needed a few more items. What we purchased before is still in great shape but we needed some additional items to complete the extra rooms. As usual, they had an excellent variety of bedroom sets to look at and that my wife and I could both agree on. We also purchased some added furnishings for our new guest room. Our salesperson, Norma ******, was great as she patiently answered all of our questions without being a "pushy salesman" per se. She was very informative about the finance options, which was very helpful. The furniture we chose was available from local inventory and is being delivered as we requested. All in all, another great experience dealing with a professional company that offered quality items, competitive pricing and great customer service. I would refer anyone who needs furniture to go to Walker Furniture. While I have been to all of their locations, I found that the one on MLK is great and you also have the option of utilizing their clearance center at that same location.

      The electric recliner on our 2 year old sectional went out last October. It took until December 2 for the extended warranty company (which we paid almost $400 for) to send someone out to diagnose the issue, a bad switch. They informed us they had to order it from China and it could take 12-15 weeks. It's supposed to be delivered to our address, then we have to call to get another tech to come out and fix it. It is now January 31st, we spent the entire holiday season without the use of this recliner on our very expensive sectional, and there is no sign or word about when we can expect any results. This customer service is horrible. Buy from Walker forewarned. They suck.
