Purchased a product that works intermittently. The store recommended paying to replace faulty parts. Wont honor return policy. I was also charge when they checked out the product. I have video and documentation.

Pictures of the product malfunctioning 2 times after it was said to be checked out and nothing wrong was found. An employee inspected the product while I recorded and said that the gas chamber was damaged and recommend leaving it for repairs at no charge. When I picked it up I was charged for test info out the product or I could not take it home with me.   I have heard around town they have done this several times.

There is a policy and it is written on our website that there are no returns on firearms once they are transferred. He bought the rifle used. The rifle was not cycling. We took it back and I looked at it, cleaned it, looked over everything and test fired it. I fired 35 rounds through 4 different magazines that came with the rifle. There was no issue. The rifle cycled perfect. I did not charge him for that work and gave him a 20 round box of ammo for free. He was still having issues with it. I did nothing to it and test fired it again. I attached the video of those two test fires. There was no issue. I looked through it again and saw nothing wrong. I explained this to him when he came and picked it up. There is nothing wrong and he saw the videos of the rifle cycling fine. He was upset that I was charging him the second time. I told him I did not charge for the cleaning, the test fire, and the box of ammo the first time. If they gun looks fine and shoots and cycles fine, there is nothing to fix and nothing wrong with it.

Our return policy is for items not firearms.

The only way we return a firearm is if they were denied a backgound check and the firearm was never transferred.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am requesting the weapon be sent to the manufacturer as it states in your policy.

Your policy states , All firearm sales are final once transferred, so please make sure you order the correct item. Once your firearm arrives at your transferring dealer, please inspect it thoroughly before completing the transfer paperwork. If there is any damage to the firearm, please contact us immediately and DO NOT complete the transfer paperwork. If you take delivery of the firearm and later find an issue, it will need to be sent back directly to the manufacturer for repairs. We will help you coordinate a claim if needed, but any warranty expenses will need to be worked out between you and the manufacturer directly. If the weapon is found to be defective while still at the dealer, we will get the weapon shipped back to us and do our best to replace the item, offer you an alternative, or issue a refund depending on avalability.

Your statement , Our return policy is for items not firearms is not accurate per your websites policy verbiage.

I have taken the item out shooting since I last picked it up and it does the same thing, jams up and I purchased this weapon as a home defense solution and I cannot trust the item you sold to me. I will admit the issue I am having with the item is an intermittent problem, but its still a problem.

Lastly , thank you for sending the videos to show your experience with the item I purchased but please add the video from October 1, 2023 (Time: 1200-1300) so the BBB can see my experience with the item as well.

      Thanks ,

The first time it was shot and malfunctioned, it needed to be cleaned and lubed. I did that at no charge. I looked at the gas system and everything is as it should be. And again I had no issues with it cycling. It was the same the second time. No issues cycling. I can not fix what isn't broken. I am not sure what is going on and why it is not working for you. But if I look through it and find nothing wrong, and test fire it, and it working like it should. There is nothing I can do. There is nothing wrong with it. The extractor is working fine. The ejector is working fine. The gas system is working fine. Have you tried to put more lube on it? If it is too dry it can cause issues. If it is dirty it can cause issues. Have you tried heavier bullets, 62gr instead of 55gr? **** instead of ****. Some guns are picky on what they like to shoot.

Everyone will have to clean and lube a gun at some point because it is not working properly.

I am not saying there was nothing wrong with it. There was, it was dry and a little dirty. So I cleaned it, lube it, and tested fired it. FOR FREE. And gave you a FREE box of ammo when you came and picked it up right after I test fired it and had no issues. And we gave you more FREE range time to come in and shoot. I am not sure what more you would like us to do.

As far as sending the gun back to the manufacture is something is wrong with it, that is on the buyer to do. Not the store. Once the firearm is transferred, there is no returning it to the store. Any warranty or defects have to go through the manufacture, not the store.
