Unfortunately, my recent experience at MGM Grand wasn’t so grand and has left me not only dissatisfied but also concerned for my health and safety. Upon arrival, I was initially pleased with the appearance and amenities of the room. However, it quickly became apparent that there were serious issues with the bathroom. The lack of proper ventilation resulted in water collecting on the ceiling above the shower. This oversight in room maintenance led to a severe mold problem, which ultimately caused me to fall ill during my stay. I have attached pictures of the water accumulation on the ceiling as evidence of this issue. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, I was dismayed by the lack of immediate action. Despite my health concerns, I was informed that no accommodation could be provided until the following day. This meant I had to spend another night in the mold-infested room, which exacerbated my condition. The next day, after much insistence, I was finally moved to another room. However, by this point, I was already quite unwell, and my enjoyment of the remainder of my trip was significantly diminished as I focused on recovering. It is extremely disappointing that a hotel of MGM Grand's reputation would allow such health hazards to persist in their rooms and fail to address guest concerns promptly. I expected better from an establishment that prides itself on luxury and exceptional service. I trust that this feedback will be taken seriously and that measures will be put in place to ensure that no other guest has to endure such an unpleasant and unhealthy experience.
