I stayed at the 18th floor of the Strat in July 24, and mostly had a good time. The room was ok (ugly carpet), TV and fridge worked, phone didnt. The $50.96 / day Resort Fee is so BOGUS. Most shows I did not care fore. No signs saying the 24th floor pool/bar is closed, only one ride advertised, Half off the Tower elevator, but $5 service fee took it back to $10.day What really annoyed me is that at check-out time, both their online info and TV checkout info showed a DOUBLE Resort Fee charge, every day. see photo. Had I not noted that, and questioned the front desk, who apologized and refunded the fees on the spot, I am wondering how many times this ?computer generated mistake has been applied toward other guests, who just paid the bill without looking at it. Are they being refunded when the Strat computer is audited and discovers the mistake?

Unfortunately I can't remember the front desk agent's name because she provided EXCELLENT customer service and deserves recognition! Friendly, helpful, smiling, nice conversation, not the forced "company policy friendliness." The line was long, and there were only 4 agents working the desk so it was a bit of a wait. The room is a standard 2 queen, a little smaller than what I'm used to at other hotels with same size room. Fairly clean except a little more attention to dusting in certain places would have been nice, but it was nothing major. The AC is awful! It was set at 60 degrees and it ran all night, but never got below 73 degrees. I woke up several times due to being uncomfortably hot. The 3 stars is because of the AC issue. Overall the Stratosphere is an ok place to stay for the price range.

Terrible dirty place. Too many hidden fees, as a guest you still have to pay extra. No daily housekeeping. I loved it when it was the stratosphere. Never comings back. I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Who the **** is in charge ? Anybody listening??

I am a local here in Nevada now. We brought family in for the Thanksgiving holiday. They have stayed in the Strat I previous years. This stay was the worst experience EVER. I purchased a package and they stayed in the Strat again. Everything was prepaid and they were excited to stay. At check in they were surprised when they were told that on top of all of the money already, they had to pay $20 a day to park. This is ridiculous and very poor business practice to surprise someone with charges that they were never informed of. Well, it looks like the Strat doesn't care about their guests. As I said previously, I am a local and I have many people that come to Las Vegas. At this point, I will inform them NOT to even consider the Strat. There were other things that were also negative about this stay, but I would be here another hour trying to explain. Doesn't really matter at this point anyway. Everyone I know will hear the whole story. Local and visitors.

No stars. Although I had an “renovated room” I thankfully only had to be here 1 night but the room was so dirty I slept in my clothes. Fake lashes left on the counter, nightstand and of all places the ice bucket .. so apparently they don’t clean that at all. I took photos of everything but because I booked on Vegas.com the hotel wouldn’t do anything or me. There were also sequence and beads all over the floor. I don’t think they did anything but change the sheets in the room. Then there was the paper thin walls where it felt I like sharing a room with the person next door. I was thankful to have AC however it was so loud to have it on. Lastly the TV was on when I walked in to the room and the remote wouldn’t turn it off. It was like some sick joke. All I wanted was to go to bed but I had to find the off button on the TV instead and it still wouldn’t turn off… maintenance said they’d come up but I was too scared being alone at that point so instead I slept with my headphones on and left the next morning. I spent a total of 10 hours in this hotel and it was 10 hours too long. Something else I didn’t consider was the active drug scene right across from the entrance it’s SCARY. Don’t walk over there even with someone else. Not safe at all.

Booked 2 rooms for my 50th bay and our flight got canceled. The hotel refused to refund or comp us any of our $500+. Will never stay or recommend. Bad customer service.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We reserved online for a reasonable price so I didn't expect it to be a palace. We arrived late and we're tired after a long wait we finally made it to check in. The first thing the desk clerk told us was how terrible the room we booked would be and for double the price we could upgrade. We reluctantly decided to because we were tired. The first room was horrible and it smelt like a dirty diaper was left in the room. Then we went back down and just asked for the room we had reserved and they hassled us for nearly 10 minutes so we went to another room that was an upgrade. It was not clean, but didn't smell near as bad. We were there Thursday through Sunday and never had housekeeping at all, we called and called and called one night and finally got ahold of housekeeping we were out of toilet paper, they said they would bring it right up. Waited an hour and had to call and call again and finally someone brought some. The places to eat inside the hotel were terrible and we all got sick after eating one slice of pizza from the pizza place. Then we could not get off the elevator or even walk anywhere because of the people trying to make plans for your evening they were relentless.. that should not even be allowed. I can't even say you get what you pay for, because for what we paid we could have stayed at a nicer hotel. I think they should pay us for enduring the horrible conditions.
