My apologies, this complaint was not previously received by the correct department. The customer's account was closed as of 9/18/2023 and the payment collected on 9/12/2023 was refunded to the customer.Initial Complaint

I receive a $27.95 auto debit from my account each month. I am unable to cancel this debit. The website for the company is not in service. Any phone number called goes unanswered. Voicemails are never returned. I want this auto debit to discontinue.Business response

For several years now, our business ******************** ***** has been charged by Livedeal.com a monthly fee of $27.95; a straight debit from our company checking account. We never received any invoices so we have no account #. We've tried many times to call **************, left voicemails to find out exactly what this service entails, but to no avail. We'd like some help to cancel this service effective immediately. Thanks!Business response

The Letter of Authorization (***) for ********************* is attached. The *** was activated November 13, **** and service has been continuously provided since. We received the BBB complaint on April 6, 2023 and cancelled the account the same day. Our customer service spoke with a representative of the company on April 6, 2023 and emailed the cancellation information to the representative. Our customer service number is ************ and has been active for over twenty years. We provide an online syndicated directory service and have provided continuous service since the customer's account was activated. No refund will be provided. We cannot be held responsible for a customer's internal accounting processes or reconciliations. Thank you.Initial Complaint

We had a business under the name of *** Enterprises located at ******************************, We never requested Live Deal services but like magic they began to request monthly the amount of $17.95 dollars . We have not requested their services nor we wont them so no payment will be provide to them. I have tried calling ************ and also ************, left messages, to no avail. I am taking note of this complaint filing in case of future problems!Business response

Response to Complaint Case # ******** The Letter of Authorization (LOA) attached, was activated in March 2003 and services have been continuously provided since. Our customer service number ************ has been active for more than twenty years. The ************ number did receive a message from Complainant on May 9, 2022, at 3:16 PM and customer service contacted this person on May 10th and left a voice mail as additional information was need about the business name. We did not receive a return call. The account was cancelled when we received the BBB complaint that listed the business information. This account is cancelled, and no future billings will occur. This person/entity has been withdrawing $27.95 from my checking account for at least 11 years without authorization and without providing any services to me. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/20) */ our customer support responded to a voice mail from the business owner on January 12, 2022. customer support explained the online directory ad service provided and cancelled the account per customer's request. customer service also discussed that as services have been provided continuously since activation and that no refund would be issued. we retrieved the letter of authorization (LOA) and emailed the LOA to the customer on January 19, 2022. we cannot be held responsible for a customer's internal accounting processes or reconciliations.
