      So around the beginning of April 2024, I wanted to cancel my membership. I had to cancel my membership because I was getting knee issues from doing exercises. So I was told from the manager because the medical issue I would need to submit a doctor's note. So I'm thinking wtf I've never been to a gym that ever asked that so I'm like okay there's nothing illegal about it so here here's a doctor's note. They told me that I would have to pay the membership fee since this is last minute cancellation. So I did that even though I did not authorize to do it. I still did it just to get this c*** out of the way. From there they told me that I was canceled. So I'm thinking to myself okay no problem right. Wrong! This morning at 3:00 in the morning as of today 5/10, I was charged another membership. Luckily it did not work through. But I have to contact the bank to make sure that they are all not going to go through. I even emailed again, I told them I canceled my membership with you why are you charging me again. The managers still has not gotten back to me so I'm still waiting for them. In all reality, don't go to this gym, their liars and they're greedies. You do not want to go with them. They don't say what they're supposed to do.

      I signed up for Ilovekickboxing on 06/23/23. My charge card was placed for two memberships. I cancelled membership on 08/24/23. I was charged $215 on August 24, 2023 and $215 September 25, 2023. I understand that I cannot be refunded for the $215 transaction on August 24, 2023 because a 30-day notice is required. I requested refund via email for the $215 transaction made on September 25, 2023, as I gave well over a 30-day notice to prevent that charge from being made. I was then charged again on October 23,2023 of $215. This is not okay. I have called their office multiple times regarding this matter and emailed the company without response. Staff would say that their Manager will call me regarding this matter because they are unable to help me and I never received a call. Meanwhile, I was still being charged. I took initiative and called again, the Manager finally spoke to me and stated that I cannot be refunded full amount because there were two memberships and the other person should have called to cancel, even though my charge card was used for both memberships. He stated he can only give me a less than partial refund. This company did not contact me in a timely manner to prevent these charges to incur and now, I am held responsible for the bulk of the charges. This is not right.

      Hello my name is *************************, i signed up for I love kick boxing membership June 18th 2023. I was enrolled in the program at this gym for about 1 month. I signed up for a 3 month program totaling $377.00 USD. Shortly after me signing up they closed the gym entirely with no advance notice. They sent an email out letting us know, i was heading to the gym and found out it was closed that way, no idea why until i received the email later that night. I responded to the owners email and asked them for a refund that this wasnt the type of business i want to be apart of as a member. They did not say there was a no refund policy in fact I spoke with the front desk lady that was in charge of the ************ location her name is ******. She said she was dealing directly with the owner ********************* and said we should be receiving our refunds in 3 to 7 business days. I contacted her through phone call. She told me this August 4th. It has been almost 3 weeks of the gym being closed and yet they have said no word about the refund process. I called every week to check up and see the status and ****** continue to tell me it will be processed in a couple days. Later to find out after emailing back and fourth. The staff of I love kick boxing sent out and email August 21st stating we need to find alternatives instead of receiving a refund. This is a part of the email they sent In the meantime, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work diligently to find a suitable resolution. We will keep you updated as we make progress and will communicate any developments regarding refunds or alternative compensation options. and later said they do not have the funds to refund us our money. I ended up disputing this with my bank. But the way this business operates is completely unprofessional and shady. I dont think they are running an ethical business. Thank you for your time. Best way to contact them is ************ they no longer answer @ the other gym.

      Ilovekickboxing has charged me for a second membership account I never signed up for. Continued to charge me for $197 a month for a year. I've called and spoke to an ****** which she said they can refund me and forward me to *** from accounting. ****** stated I will be reached out by the owner or manager, but till now have never been given a follow up on my status of getting refunded. I've been ignored for a month via call and email.

      As you sign up for a membership, they are not thorough explaining the membership. I was advice this was a monthly membership. I was told that I can cancel at any time, I just had to contact the administrator. As I was trying to cancel my membership, a $195 cancellation fee was added, and I was charged for an additional two months that I did not attend. Moving forward, the company should be transparent as a patron is signing up for a membership and disclose its a year long contract and that there will be a fee to cancel, and possible additional months of payment that are charged after membership is cancelled.

      I had correspondences with David I****, the owner of I Love Kickboxing at **********************************************. On May 10th, 2021 I sent him a message in regards to a membership valued at $347. I notified Abby, the person in charge at this location that I had moved to Puerto Rico. He asked me on May 11th to email him my moving documents to ************@ilovekickboxing.com . He responded to me on May 16th that he received those document's and a refund was in place and to allow it to post in a few days back to my credit card, it was not. I reached out May 24th and May 28th to confirm receipt, no refund. David stated his merchant processor was having issues refunding my original credit card. I still did not see anything by June 2nd and June 4th. Then on June 7th David reached back out to me and asked me to provide an address to where he could send a check. Still to this date nothing. I have more dates/days that he has not responded to me but cant due to lack of space.
