Shook & Stone law firm was given to me as a lawyer referral. It is my own opinion that this law firm does not respect its referrals or its US based clientele. I phoned in to hire an attorney to represent me in a social security disability case but was transferred to an intake person in ***************! After requesting to be transferred back to the US where I could communicate effectively in English, I was essentially hung up on 4 times by a receptionist who was angry because I explained to her that I could not understand her intake person in ***************, and she did not fully comprehend the disability process here in the States since she asked me irrelevant questions about my claim. After being rudely treated and hung up on when I told them I needed a lawyer who could represent me, I asked for the managing partner to call me. He contacted me back and became offended because I stated that as an American, I found it difficult to speak to someone about my situation who did not speak English well enough to understand my disability circumstance. The managing partner eventually hung up after rudely cutting me off whilst I offered my feedback about Shook & Stones decision to outsource American jobs to a foreign country and that they expect the language barrier to not be an issue. He stated that he hired the foreign worker in question as an in-take person to work remotely on claims, when I said how can a foreign worker handle a U.S based claim for social security benefits originating in this country? After telling me I was rude for describing the language issue the managing partner hung up on me, it was clear to me that U.S. Citizens opinions on who wed prefer to communicate with when handling our legal affairs is irrelevant! My feedback didn't matter to this U.S. based law firm, only the money does, so their professional reputation is inflated and falsified by their advertisements. I will be informing the *********************** about my treatment by this firm.Business response
