Absolutely awful. Provident clobbers clients with administrative fees. First of all, they charge an annual IRA fee, now $345. It was raised from $250 in 2022, a whopping 38% increase. How do they justify that size increase when inflation was running less than 10%? Plus, because they seem to be paranoid that clients may refuse to pay their outlandish annual fees, they require a minimum cash balance of $500 to be kept in IRA accounts. That requirement was a first for me of all the IRA accounts I have had through the years. To avoid the annual fee in 2023, I decided to transfer the assets in the Provident account to another IRA provider who charges no annual fee. Provident had the nerve to charge $250 to close the account. Again, a first for me. My advice is to avoid Provident. They are fee happy and will grab your money at the first opportunity.

The worst company I have been a customer service of, ever! About 2 weeks ago, I called again and asked for Management to return my call regarding withdrawal of my Roth IRA money without my authorization to pay for their custodial fee. This time, I spoke to Becky A about it and she went on to pretend being a knowledgeable manager and CPA wannabe by telling me I committed prohibited transactions. By that she meant I funded my Roth IRA account using my personal bank and threaten to send me a physical letter to close my Provident Trust Roth IRA account. She said I’d be fined by the IRS for committing prohibited transactions by at least 50% of the market value of my asset. She also advised that I get a CPA to sort this out because my Roth IRA account will be closed within 30 days. Her outrageousness in giving false advice caused me significant distress on top of the distress that I’ve been constantly dealing with Provident Trust for years. Also, because of her insistence in closing my Roth IRA account that would cause significant financial loss, I had to find a CPA to research what she said and what I needed to do. After $250 spent on a CPA, I came to find out about her false accusations, advises and statements. I have all the research in hand to support what the company could hear on our voice recoding of our conversation that resulted in me screaming with extreme distress. As of now no one has yet reached out to me for a resolution and taking care of my property tax. This is the worst company ever and should be investigated for their business conduct.

Liars and thieves, stealing their $250 yearly fee from the Life Partners Bankruptcy settlement. They will be punished as given in Jeremiah 7, verses 1-7 - they will not inherit the Land promised to their fathers.

Every transaction I have had has been accurate and very prompt. I would recommend Provident Trust to anyone that is considering using a self directed IRA for their investments.

I have used Provident Trust for over 5 years for my gold/silver IRA. I am pleased with all aspects of their service. The set up went without a hitch. Their fees are just what they said they would be. Thank you guys for everything

I sent in the appropriate request for all of the money I had invested with the Provident Trust Group, which amounted to a little over $150,000.
I received a check for $447.95 after a week. This was with paying an extra fee for expedited handling.
