              For the past year I have been going to CORE Mental Health Services and throughout this time, I had some on going issues with their scheduler Tammy. Last week, Tammy not only crossed the line and was rude on the phone but her awful behavior caused me to stop going to CORE Mental Health Services. I did enjoy my sessions but Tammy's unacceptable behavior on the phone and the lack of follow up by the owner Dr. L**** finalized my decision to leave CORE Mental Health. I've never had this kind of experience before especially with a place that is supposed to help your mental health. Tammy talks to patients with mental health issues and her tone and demeanor was inappropriate for anyone suffering from mental health issues. Luckily, my issues are not severe but if she talked that way to a patient that was suicidal or unstable, what would have happened? I called Dr. L**** and it's been days and no response. I recommend anyone to find another place for mental health services.

              Unprofessional and unproductive to the extreme. Was first assigned to a person in training. When this person clearly could not handle our case, we were slowly moved to the lead counselor/owner. She would talk extensively about an area of concern one session and then instruct us that we were not to ever talk about it again. Several sessions were cut short, although she charged us for the entire session. Final session was terminated less than 10 minutes in (to a 60-min) session, and we were charged. No violence, threats, or other behavior previously outlined as grounds for session termination occurred, but were kicked out of her office and she threatened to call the police twice before I could pack up and get down the hallway and out the door. Extremely unprofessional and shady business practices.
