I purchased a gift card in May of 2022 (receipt attached) for a Mothers Day gift. When my mother went to use it in September, she was told that it is invalid. I called to find out what the issue was and I was told that I had filed a dispute which resulted in a refund. This did not happen. I had not filed a dispute with my credit card company. When they provided the last four of the credit card number that was refunded, I forwarded the attached receipt to show that the last four didnt match my credit card. The company stopped returning my calls and I have since filed an ACTUAL dispute. The little contact I have had I was told that they are having trouble reaching their credit card service provider, which should not be my problem. It has been two months since this first started. The owner, *****, is refusing to look into the matter further. I dont think a company should be allowed to operate this way. The consumers should be able to trust that we are provided the services for which we paid or be refunded. Please advise on how this is permissible.
