This company is a scam! Do not use them. They are unprofessional, rude, and harassing all in the name of a broker sale. I have never in my 52 years on this earth heard anyone speak to a female the way they did me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYReview from Meghan Z

The website only exists so they can collect your personal information. None of the links are actual working links if you look at the coating on the page. It’s just an entrapment for them to gain personal information so they can spam you for the rest of your life. But I don’t understand what’s the purpose of having a website if you’re not actually going to generate any business from it? What’s the purpose of spamming people if you’re not actually going to generate business from it? It says in their terms and conditions on the bottom of the page that they are supposed to generate a quote for you, but I tried the process three times and haven’t received even a single acknowledgment that I filled in the boxes and clicked “get my quote”. Scam at its finestReview from Terri S

Super unimpressed with this moving company. The quote was much lower than the actual end cost. We were told that we could use credit card every step of the way; we made a down payment no problem, another payment when they loaded items, and it was difficult and time consuming for them to process a credit card, and when our item arrived, paying with card was not an option. I called seven times with no calls returned to try and figure out when our moving truck would be arriving. Be warned, after loading our things into a truck, it was driven to a storage facility and everything moved to a different truck. They put everything into boxes when they were loading with little regard, and charged us for the boxes they used. I had large wardrobe boxes filled haphazardly by them--one box had fragile written on it, placed at the bottom with items like a lawnmower placed inside above it. They put smaller kitchen boxes together into one larger wardrobe box. Another had boxes of glassware and books along with lawn items. Really disappointed with this company.Review from Dalton D

Anne was absolutely unprofessional and had the customer service skills of a hamster. I am appalled at how someone who is trying to gain business could be so rude and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend and encourage anyone considering a moving company to not work with this organization. I can only imagine how they would handle your personal and prized possessions considering how they have no problem speaking to you rudely and condescendingly. It’s a shame you can’t give a 0 star review as that’s what they honestly deserve.Review from Debbie G

Biggest scamming moving company ever! They tell you that they are cheaper than renting a truck yourself! What a bunch of BS they will add hidden fees 4 to 5xs the amount of moving yourself! Word to the wise, shop around and don't use this company at all!!Review from Anjanette D

I contracted Budget Van Lines for my move from Oregon to Mississippi. I gave them the exact measurements of my furnishings (I got the measurements and weight of each item from the sticker on each item). I also gave them the number of boxes. When a third party mover arrived (I thought Budget Van Lines was the mover, but they weren’t), they told me the square footage was incorrect and my price doubled. My original quote was $5000+ dollars and when the third party arrived, my price increased to $13,000. I had a flight to catch so I had to go ahead and continue with the service. When the movers got to my new home, they parked directly in front of my home. Although they had access to come through my front door with the items, they said it would be easier to deliver everything through my back door entrance. When they were about 90% finished with the unloading, the lead guy said “I forgot. We had to walk more than 75 feet to get your items in your home. The contract says we you have to pay extra for the extra distance. That’s gonna be another $400 dollars.” I then absolutely refused to pay. He then called Budget Van Lines to “tell on me.” He informed them they had already unloaded 90% of my items. So Budget told him to just complete the job and to not worry about the extra $400. I was not going to pay an additional $400 because it was more convenient for them to go through my back door. They chose that entrance even though they had access to the front entrance. Besides, I was already ticked about the up-charge when I had given them exact measurements of my items. I only moved one bedroom. There were no couches, sofas, loveseats, dining room tables, chairs, pianos, nothing. I had mostly boxes and a single bedroom set WITHOUT THE BED, because I was going to buy a new bed in my new location. I think it was a rip off, but I don’t plan to ever move again. If so, I won’t be calling these guys. Beware.Review from Ken K

Scam Scam Scam Avoid this company. Don't give them your contact info.Review from Ashley J

This company makes moving even more stressful than it already tends to be. They sell consumer contact information. I gave my information to receive an estimate from this company. I later realized they weren't movers but brokers. I was frustrated but not completely put off until more than 10 companies called my phone back to back within an hour. I've had to block multiple emails and phone numbers to get it to stop. I understand needing to communicate with a company to coordinate a move, but I absolutely did not want to speak to 10+ companies across the country all at once.Review from David C

These people are not movers. They are brokers and they will hook you up with the absolute worst rip-off moving companies out there. In my case it was a company or companies called ***** *** and ****** ****. They seem to be affiliated but they are separated by layers upon layers of LLCs out of Florida. So how could a company like this have any good reviews? Answer: Because most of them are fake reviews. That is what these blood suckers do. They screw a boatload of people, get horrific reviews, close down shop and then open up under a new LLC. They do it over & over again. Check out the Secretary of State Business search. They got me for $1800. They were only supposed to take a 20% deposit but they took more than half. When I tried to cancel, they said I was past the 72 hours and they refused to give any refund whatsoever. The problem is that, if you are looking at this now, you've already been screwed. You probably called Budget Van Lines because they had "good reviews" and they "assigned" you to one of their vermin moving company partners for the actual move. This is a sleazeball outfit but do not give up! At this point, your options are: 1) Put in a dispute with the credit card company. 2) File a complaint with the FMCSA... the governing body that regulates and disciplines moving companies. 3) File a complaint with the Attorney General in your state. 4) File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Again, they will just shut down and open up under another name. The best we can do is to make it difficult for them for as long as possible.Review from Ramona D

DO NOT USE. Contacted them from Montana because on their web site it says they cover 48 states. Apparently they are just a broker who uses contractors, ***** ********** ******* is who coordinated a mover from UAMI Mover LLC. I moved from Montana to Georgia and have been here several weeks and have no date in sight when I will receive my household goods. Everyone I have contacted either doesn’t have a clue or they just don’t answer or return calls. Funny they were Johnny on the spot when they were asking for the money. I have paid 100% of the charges but have no idea of if or when my goods will arrive. I did find out on my own that my possessions are still in a storage building in Montana so if I could get access to them I would transport them back myself. I feel like I have been robbed and they are holding my household goods as hostage.
