On 11.30.2023, my factory warranty expired on my 2017 ******* 488 Spider. 12.01.2023, Towbin Motorcars, completed an inspection to extend my warranty for an additional year. The warranty was extended at the cost of $5,950, $1,050 for the inspection and $4,900 for the one year warranty. On 03.17.2024, I traded my ******* in for a new vehicle at a different dealership. I was told by the new dealership that I should cancel my warranty and get a refund. I called ******* Finance and they told me it's refundable but I need to call the finance manager at Towbin. I spoke to the finance manager, ****, and he said I need the odometer statement and a letter from ******* finance showing it's paid off and then he would start the refund. When I provided the documents, **** said I need to speak to my service **** ***** **** said the warranty is not refundable. I was told by ******* finance, the finance manager and I called other dealers around the country and they all said it's a prorated refund. I have the paid invoice and all disclaimers on the back side of the receipts and it does not state that, it was only the word of ***** All other parties said it is refundable. I am looking for a prorated refund of the warranty only. I am not looking for any refund on the inspection, only the warranty.

There are many warranties that get a prorated refund if you want to cancel it before the termination date. ******* is not one of them. The Power15 warranty stays with the car not the customer. I do appologize that *************** was incorrectly informed by the new dealer that was trying to get him to buy their warranty. Furthermore, ******* Finance would not reach back out to a customer they will have the dealer do that. He may be refering to my finance **** here instead of the actual (Bank). They would have no skin in the game. I do not have anybody named **** in my building as he said he spoke to.

In summary, sorry ********** Finance Manager incorreclty informed him about a company they do not represent and sorry for *************** not reading his contract fully. A Power 15 ******* warranty is a warranty Extension onto the current warranty of the car. This is not an aftermarket warranty administered by an insurance company that most of the time gets a prorated amount back. I am mearly following ********* and not trying to be difficult. This dealership hasnt ever issued a refund on a ******* Warranty extention since owning the brand.

**************** has done us a favor and reached out to the ************************* as well and they will reach back out with the findings that this is non Refundable as well.

Hi. *********************** was my sales person that sold me both of my ********** **** originally told me that the warranty was refundable if I cancelled it.  I did put the incorrect name for the finance manager, his name is *********, and he told me as well that it was refundable.  He said I would need the odometer statement and payoff letter from ******* and he would get the refund started.  When ********* couldn't find the extended warranty in the system, he asked me who sold it to me.  I told him **** in service and he said for me to contact **** to get it started.  As for ******* finance, they did not call me back, I called them and they told me the same thing everyone else is telling me, that it is refundable.  Lamborghini was not trying to sell me anything.  I had purchased the vehicle and I told them I had an extended warranty on the car and they said to reach out to ******* because I can cancel it and "possibly" get a refund.  I knew that because of my conversation with ******* staff prior to me ever looking at Lamborghini.

We have a solid case of hearsay here. The consumer has the warranty contract and was advised by multiple sources including the insurance commission board. Unfortunately we are not accountable for what another Dealership states. This is a closed case.

I went to this dealership to purchase a vehicle under my business. I provided a pre-approval letter from my bank (***************). It clearly stated that it was a BUSINESS AUTO LOAN that had my BUSINESS NAME printed on it. This dealership took it upon themselves to run a separate application through *************** under my personal credit without my knowledge. They completely disregarded my approval letter. I only found out after the loan had closed and funded, when I had contacted the bank regarding my business that Towbin motors took their own application with my bank and put the car purchase on my personal credit instead of my business. The banker told me that this is common for dealerships to pull moves like this and not use customers own approval letters, so that they can make extra money on the deals from financing because they have a shortage of cars. This was done behind my back and done with *************** so that I wouldn't notice since it's the same bank of my approval letter. Because Townin motors did not do the paperwork correctly my bank requested a flat cancellation of the loan so that I can resign paperwork and have it done CORRECTLY under my BUSINESS. Towbin is not cooperating and is not responding to my banks demands. Because this loan was done under my personal credit and not my business, this effects my personal credit score and my debt to income ratio. It effects my ability to purchase a house now. This business schemes clients for their own benefit. There needs to be protection for consumers when purchasing vehicles, because too much is done away from the client behind closed doors where we don't know what's going on.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/08) */ Contact Name and Title: John N***** GSM Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: john.n*****@towbinauto.com With a *************** Pre-approval the dealer must submit it to *************** for the Final rate and structure. Ms. ******* handed us a pre-approval on a new car although, she was purchasing a used car. We had to submit her for the loan on a used car giving her the same rate that *************** offered her on a new car. Ms. ******* was well aware that her business name was not on any of the documents she signed in the Finance Department as she signed every document. Once she notified us she wanted her business name on it we partnered with the bank and they instructed her that she needed to resubmit an application to them for another approval. We are now waiting on her to come back with the Pre-approval as *************** gave us until August 10, 2022 to get them a new contract. *************** also told her that the rate may be different than what she has now. In summary the original approval Ms. ******* came in with was irrelevant to the car she purchased and the Manager did have to re-submit to *************** as stated on all letters. We have acted swiftly to help her resolve her situation although *************** will only hold this until August 10, 2022 Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/09) */ Since filing a complaint with BBB I've spoken with my bank again, who has been trying to do a flat cancellation with the dealership. *************** made me aware that I would now have to reapply for my business auto loan, as the approval letter I was originally given (the one that the dealership purposely did NOT use) has expired. Because of that I would have to have my credit rerun and new loan terms would be applied. My credit score would go down from ANOTHER inquiry, and interests rates have since gone up. So in order to fix the mistake that Towbin motors PURPOSELY did to me, I would be stuck with another hard credit inquiry, a higher interest rate, and now a higher monthly payment. Why should I be punished with worse terms for something this dealership has done to me, all for them to just make extra money on the sale!? I was told by the sales rep that assisted me that a manager would call me to see how they can fix the problem. I've not once heard from a MANAGER since this has transpired. Something more than just redoing the documents to the correct way must now be done to compensate me for a higher payment. I shouldn't have to pay with a higher rate and higher payment because this dealership chose to not use my approval letter and do another loan application on their own side. It was admitted by the sales rep that they do indeed have my approval letter that I walked in with on file, but they can't answer why it wasn't used. This dealership did NOT have my permission to run their own credit application with my own bank, whom I ALREADY had a pre-approval from. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/08/16) */ ********* brought a new pre-approval letter to us on the 11th and we submitted the final structure to *************** through our internal system and she resigned. She is now on the Loan with her Business on line one. Issue Resolved.

2019 *********** I purchased this 2019 *********** on 05/25/2021 from ******* dealership of Last Vegas. They used a 3rd party to deliver the paper work and watched me sign the contract. I financed through ***************. And I paid the vehicle off on 11/23/2021. I have not received any loan payment satisfaction letter stating that my vehicle is been paid off. I called them numerous times and go the run around. I even filed a complaint but received no call back from this bank. My complaint confirmation number is ***************. I called and spoke to a representative named Roosevelt, they told me they will have the collateral specialist follow up with me within a week and that was more than 10 days ago. *************** told me they can't issue me a letter of Lien Satisfaction due to the fact that they have never received a title/ Electronic title from the dealer I bought my car from, although they been trying to reach out to them for many months. I would like to have either *************** or the ******* Dealership of Las Vegas to buy my car back, of whatever I paid. ********* (go by ******) **********

Business Response /* (1000, 19, 2022/06/24) */ Mr. ** purchase a vehicle from us last year, unfortunately the title for this vehicle never arrived from DMV, and we had to request a duplicate title. Due to Covid and severe DMV closures in 2020, and partially in 2021, DMV offices were extremely backed up, sometimes 6+ months, however, as soon as we received the dupe title, we contacted a CA DMV service to assist getting the title perfected to ***************, as we are required to by law when there is a lien, and to process Mr. **'s registration. Our title clerk reached out to Mr. ** in January, explained the process and the steps Mr. ** needed to do and contact the DMV service, however, this does not seem to have happened until March, and the title was finally processed to **** on 3/23/2022. It usually takes about 4 weeks for title to be sent from CA DMV to Bank, then bank will release to customer. Debbie, our title clerk, was on contact with Mr. ** during the whole process, and with ****, regarding status of title, and she was told by Mr. ** he would withdraw complaint once he received title. He never did. Mr. **'s complaint that no one from **** communicated with him is a matter related to the bank, not us, as we are not affiliated with the bank, and have no control over their staff. The title process is unfortunately cumbersome, and we must process the title to the bank when there is a lien on the car, as legally the bank owns the car, not the customer, and even if paid off prior to bank received title from a dealer, the same process must be followed, otherwise there is a skipped title, which is illegal in all states. We processed the title as fast as possible, we even paid his registration fees of $1137, due to the delay, as a gesture of goodwill, we communicated with customer on the process, we have numerous emails between client and Debbie, who also followed up afterwards to ask if Mr. ** received the title from ****, the last email is from 6/8/2022, no response to Debbie at this time. We have completed the title work to the appropriate party, ****, the lien holder, who in turn will provide Mr. ** his title, as I would imagine they have done, since they should have received the title around mid-april. Nothing else is owed to Mr ** at this time. Consumer Response /* (2000, 21, 2022/06/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) They were able to help me by giving me the title of my purchased vehicle, after 8 months.
