I had my eyebrows tattooed (permanent makeup) at this place of business by two different techs on two different occasions and they are absolutely horrible! (See picture attached!)This is a permanent makeup academy and studio and from my understanding Britt Wager does trainings for PMU! I have a call out to file a complaint with the ****************** of ************ I reached out to Britt Wagner (Owner) with pure desperation for her to make this right and correct my eyebrows since it was her place of business that ruined them. She offered me $100 off her services and seemed very confident she will be able to correct my eyebrows. I reluctantly agreed and booked my appoint with her and paid $250 deposit with a $150 balance due.The weekend before my appointment my face got a bit too much sun even though I applied sunscreen and wore my sunglasses. I reached out to Britt with her advice and she encouraged me to reschedule (no mention of losing my $250 deposit and the $100 off offer) so that is what I did. She then charged my credit card another $250 deposit without my consent and proceeded to inform me that she will no longer honor $100 off my services and my balance due was $250. At this point I knew I was no longer going to associate with this place of business and kindly requested a refund. Britt Wagner agreed to refund my second $250 deposit that I never agreed to, but is refusing to refund me my original $250 deposit stating her booking fees are non-refundable. Her policy clearly states "a 20% booking fee is required. This will go towards your appointment. This is non-refundable so please show up to your appointment. Cannot use towards rescheduling". My services I was quoted on totaled $400, I gave a $250 deposit under the impression that 20% of $400 is $80 and that would be my non-refundable booking fee. Per her policy, $80 of my $250 deposit is the only amount that is non-refundable and I am still owed $170 back from my original booking.Business response

**** chose to go to another artist not only her first time getting her brows done, but also her second. She reached out to me to correct them, which is a difficult thing to do. I agreed to do them as I ultimately wanted her to be happy with her results. I offered **** $100 off of my annual touchup. Which I never do "annual touchups" over work that isn't mine, as that is considered a new client and typically corrective work is needed and it is a lot more tedious. My brow appointments are $600 so this is now $200 off of a typical appointment. I have attached the screenshots of our conversation over instagram before her appointment. I was very concerned about the results of her brows and made sure to tell her she couldn't be in the sun beforehand. She agreed and said, "thats my plan!" She then scheduled and had to agree to all of my service and refund policies, otherwise cannot get on my schedule. Both policies are non transferable and non-refundable as they are booking fees. She agreed to this twice, but I agreed to refund the upcoming booking fee as that appointment hadn't approached yet and she wanted to cancel. I did not refund the first booking fee as she knew to stay out of the sun and didn't and she decided to cancel last minute. I offered to help **** with her brows, and I was going to make them the best I could, but she didn't honor my business policies which she agreed to.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: My session total was $400. I paid $250 deposit. InkbyBritt's policy clear as day states that a 20% booking fee is required and non-refundable (see attached). With that said, she is only entitled to keeping $80 of my $250 deposit made. I kindly request a refund of $170. I am one of the few that actually reads small print and I know exactly what I agreed to. This place of business not only destroyed my eyebrows but they are now trying to steal my money.Furthermore, I was assured that the other techs Britt had at her business were all fantastic and trained by her. As you can tell by my picture that I previously provided, that is absolutely not the case here.
Sincerely,

Her brow appointment was suppose to be $600, but I offered her a discount, which I never do as I was trying to help her and make her happy. I was graciously working with her and her situation and offered her a discount if she could stay of out the sun and pay a booking fee which is $250 on an annual touchup, she also agreed and paid that amount twice via my booking site. That is my booking policy for any one who books annual touchup through my booking link. She chose to cancel her appointment hours before her appointment and I couldn't fill the spot. As a small business its very painful to have last minute cancellation. I would have rather done the service altogether than to not do them and collect the booking fee, but that is my policy and me and my apprentices had to sit around. I offered to do them another day which see agreed to and when she decided she didn't want that option anymore I canceled her appointment and refunded her her $250. I have done everything I can to find a solution, but cannot make her happy. I wanted to give her beautiful brows, but she didn't give me the opportunity. I take this very seriously as this is my business, my livelihood and my apprentices plan on my days being planned out as well so that they can learn, they were also put out. I already attached her agreeing to my booking fee and policies page in the previous response. Thank you.Customer response

I am completely confused on how this compliant has been closed when nothing was resolved. I provided the small print with Ink by Britt's refund policy and she is NOT abiding by that! She is unethically stealing my money and needs to be held accountable so she does not do this to any other client!
