I Nov first 2023 Plumbing Inovations came to my home at ***************************************************************************** to replace flappers and two bathrooms and in one bathroom and angle stop I was charged $350 for the flappers $125 for the angle stop I paid on that day a total of $427.50 For parts that cost no more than $30 complete the technicians name was ** and he was in my home no more than 30 minutes if that he was pleasant and respectful. I called Plumbing Inovations and informed them that one of the toilets was still running JJ came back and stated it was the flap he had about six in his hand and stated he needed to order one. He put one in that would not run his much. He stated I asked how long it would it would take due to water loss he stated a couple of days I didnt hear anything so I called the Plumbing agency again the girl that answered contacted ** and he said he just received the flapper. An appointment was sent scheduled for November 10 ** came with only a flapper in his hand, and said this would work he had no tools or any other parts when he came in or when he left, I did ask if I could throw out the flapper that didnt work he said no the company will reimburse me. He showed me the defect in the flapper where the water was seeping out , I noticed a day later when I was downstairs. I thought I heard the tank in the bathroom fill up when I would get upstairs. There was nothing it takes me time to walk the stairs Im 82 years old in an oxygen on 15 November I heard and saw the tank fill the flapper was leaking again it was 2:30 AM. I was upstairs in bed. I waited to see if it happened again and it did. I called the Plumbing agency and told the girl that answered the phone the problem I had to wait a long time for her to get back to me. She stated she was unable to reach JJ. He was with another customer , she stated she would call me back. I then noticed on my phone iMessage it was a bill for $165 and invoice November 16. I called back immediately and asked what the bill was for a defective part was put in my toilet ** stated he was getting reimbursed at the time. Same time I was being charged I informed her this was fraud , she said ** put in a flush replacement tube. I informed her she did not put in a to flush tube. He only had a flapper in his hand and I insisted on it. I told her my conversation when he left, and all he had in his hand was a flapper he never ever mentioned a flush tube replacement. She stated she would have a manager call me , as of this writing I have not heard from anyone. I am a retired social worker from Clark County. Im 82 years old with all my faculties. This is absurd that senior citizens are being taken advantage of.
