10/11/21 - kitchen sink leaking; contacted my home warranty and was referred to Allstate Plumbing for service. When plumber got there, water was noted coming out of exterior wall behind kitchen sink and wraps around the whole kitchen to pantry. He advised to call ********** as damage will be extensive and expensive. ********** initially approved the claim but few days later retracted offer. From the beginning, I had asked for estimates before work is done. Jazsel was my point of contact; fans were set up and a cutout from exterior wall was done to inspect the leak. Per our email conversation on October 28th, she was unable to give me an estimate of the repair since there was lot of work still needed to be done and it was suppose to be done the next day. I also had asked if there was any costs incurred so far, but no response. Since ********** retracted coverage, I requested to stop all work until I had resolved it with **********; when it was finally resolved, I had asked for estimates of work to be done to be sent to ********** as requested by their agent; I was under the impression that the estimates are for work to be done since the job was halted; I agreed to send payment directly to them but was not able to get a hold of anyone x 1 week so I requested a stop payment. It was then I found out that now, there are no additional work needed, I just need to pay them; when asked regarding email conversation on October 28th of extensive work still needed, Teya states she will have Jazsel contact me, which she never did. When asked any questions or requesting escalation, the only answer is work was done and I needed to pay and threatened with collection.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/19) */ ********* paid for mitigation services our company rendered after reviewing photos and documentation. Per the ********* adjuster E****, the payment was issued to the insured to satisfy this balance. There were no more mitigation services to be done as the insurance allowed us to only remove directly affected materials. There is no adjustment to be made to the invoice. The office can be contacted to satisfy this bill to prevent from being sent to collections. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/07/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) You mentioned that the mold has been taken cared of. Is there a report of the mold remediation to make sure it's gone? Also, ***** our home warranty stated that it's the plumber's responsibility to make gain access to see and fix the leak and has paid the plumber for the services; why am I being charged twice? Las Vegas General Construction/Allstate Service Group were hired 2/3/22 to fix and repair damage done by a refrigerator water line. They had their cabinet person come in and do the measurements so they could repair cabinet boxes. The cabinet guy took the original cabinet boxes for repair. I never heard back from them and after several text and voice messages they scheduled cabinet man to come back on Monday, May 9th. The man came and my husband and the man saw the cabinets weren't going to fit. The man attempted to cut them down and installed them. These cabinets fit on each side of my stove. When he finished putting cabinets in they were not straight. The size was not correct leaving a space where I could see concrete between the bottom of cabinet and flooring, the shelf was wobbly and the drawer didn't go all the way to the back of cabinet as before. He left the counter top off and stated that was not his job. The cabinets are so close now to my stove on the sides that it scratches if not pulled out directly straight, which was a previous issue. He didn't put the baseboard back around all the cabinets as he stated he would return on May 13th to do that and he was a no call no show. I sent pictures and left message for the office that same day with no response. I contacted Teya P. and Art Z. who were our contacts with no response. I then sent an email to both of them at ************@lv-gc.com on May 16th and received a response from Teya apologizing and stating they could have cabinet crew out that day between 4:30 - 5:30 and asked if this worked for me. I responded on May 16th that no one would be home before 6pm but they could could come Friday, May 20th. I advised I would be home 8:30am - 5:15pm and she never responded. I sent a follow up email May 17th, stating I hadn't received a response in regards to them coming Friday. I never heard anything back and I have left voice messages again for both Teya and Art today.
