On November 16 Mark S******* of Complete Pool Care came to my house and gave me a bid to replace valves, pipes and sensors and a blower. He said everything had to be paid in advance and I had used him before for other pool repairs so I paid $1161 in full at that time (see picture for receipt). Every day or two he had a new excuse for not getting the work started. He kept having excuse after excuse for weeks why he couldn't come. We had many texts back and forth (two examples are in the the pictures). He never came back and on December 13 I asked for a full refund and he said it would be transferred that day through *****. It was never transferred and he stopped responding to me after that. That same day my husband left a message to try to work things out including Mark giving us the parts and just refunding the labor. He never responded to the phone call.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/01/24) */ Contact Name and Title: Mark S******* Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: ****@cpclv.com This case much like other repairs i have had scheduled are are a direct result of lack of parts, logistical issues and 200 other reasons that are due to the ongoing pandemic. As we(much like other companies) try to work around these issues, the overall stress was too much for my current health and I was hospitalized for several months due to a stroke. As I am currently out of the hospital, I have had to go back into each project and either complete of refund what was paid out. Julie's project is part of that list and I will be sending out a full refund which she will get in 7 to 10 days from now. It is unfortunate and I give my sincere apologies for my absence in this issue. With that being said, I will also issue a credit on file in addition to the refund to cover any costs should they hire another company to do the repairs. A check for that cost will be issued once we receive an emailed copy of the receipt from the other vendor that they chose to do the work. Thank you for your patience and please stay safe. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/01/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I would prefer that Mark finish the job this week if he would like or else refund the money on ***** today if that's not possible. He said he could refund us on December 14 with *****. It doesn't take 7-10 days to send money on ***** to ************. Thank you!
