I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against FilmproLV, operated by ***** and ***************************, regarding a transaction that has resulted in a significant financial loss to me. On December 26, 2023, I engaged FilmproLV for a service and paid the full amount of $2,800, for which I possess dated photographic receipts as proof of payment.Immediately following the transaction, ***** expressed dissatisfaction with the payment method and urged me to engage in a dubious reimbursement process involving my bank. He suggested I report the transaction as fraudulent to facilitate a faster payment via a different method. Subsequently, I was instructed to make a second payment of $2,694 on December 30, 2023, through a third-party app, with assurances of a refund for the initial payment, supported by written promises and continuous communication.Despite numerous assurances and a prolonged dialogue extending over 100 days, the promised refund has not been issued. ***** cited an account suspension and a mandatory 90-day holding period as reasons for the delay. Even past the stipulated 90 days, the refund remains unfulfilled. Recent communications have led to further excuses and eventual cessation of contact, with ******************* all communication channels and failing to return any calls.This series of events not only reflects poorly on the business practices of FilmproLV but also represents a significant financial and emotional strain on me as a consumer. I have acted in good faith throughout this transaction and have been met with deception and evasion.I request that the BBB investigate this matter thoroughly and assist in the recovery of my funds totaling $2,800. Attached are the photographic receipts, text message records, and any other pertinent documentation that substantiates my claim. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The customer has been threatening us and harassing us for 3 months and I am currently waiting on them to be served with a temporary restraining order. The customer chose to lie to their own bank on their own free will and I believe now they were trying to not pay for the job at all. He was trying to The actual amount is ******* not the 5k as the work was completed on time and complete. Also this is not a filmprolv contract. This transaction was through the company InstaTint LLC and has nothing to do with me personally as instatint is a corporation and has zero affiliation with filmprolv. According to instatints records the money has already been refunded.
the credit card processing company known as squareup has a notoriously bad reputation of holding companies money without offering any rhythms or explanations. We have been in com with **** right up until he started calling us names and making threats and harassing us online with multiple multiple fake yelp reviews which have all been successfully removed and reported and will be on the restraining order. We are withholding or in control of any customers moneys whatsoever. Also filmpro has not blocked anyone on any platforms. Sounds like this is a civil matter between instatint and ************. Please see attached reports of transactions

There is ZERO affiliation between filmpro and instatint llc.
Two completely separate entities; the filmpro invoice wasnt paid directly and his actual payment was a wire transfer directly into instatints corporate account to clarify (Filmpro has zero to do with this issue)

My clients have a near flawless reputation and thousands of happy customers. A single incident with one or two people doesnt make a business a scam it makes them a business, ************ has been formally advised of Slander and defamation laws. There is a significant difference in a payment system dispute versus a scam or unlawful business practices. ************ is failing to address that my client completed the job above and beyond Mr. ***** expectations while also claiming he was scammed. We would advise ************ to use the proper channels to recover any said lost funds as it is out of my clients hands. My client worked diligently with ************ even while out of town through all the accusations and allegations to resolve the issue.Business Response
