I enrolled in May 2021 paying $500.00 upfront for three courses, but after attending about a week due to medical issues I called the school and told them I am not able to come to school. I have been told to come anytime I feel better but my medical issues has involve with unable to stand or sitting for extended time. In November, I told the office my health situation didn't improved and I am not able to continue with the training and demanded a refund per the school rule. However, by a person first name David, told that I have been in the school for more than five days and I am not entitled for any refund. He was totally wrong and you will not find me or never been in attendance more than the days I mentioned above. The only lesson I learned in those five days was how to stock up chips in three and five. I feel like I am cheated unlawfully and demand fair resolution. Sincerely Thank YouBusiness response

Our contract includes language that provides for a countdown from the time a student starts with the school, not including absences. Each class takes about a month and enrollment begins and is counted from their first attendance. For the $500 a students gets 3 classes, 6 months of practice and job placement assistance. At any time a student can ask for their enrollment to be suspended and the clock is stopped. We have had students take a year off. Also, a student after just a week or so or anytime before their contract expires can request a refund and receive the prorated portion. This gentleman did come and talk to us several months into his enrollment about his back. Even at that point he would not have been eligible for much of a refund, maybe a $100 or so. He elected to continue. I offered at that time to suspend or cancel his contract and he opted to see how it went. Then months later he now decides he wants out, but at this point his contract has expired. We can't possibly account for all the things that affect a student's outcome. All we can do is provide the teachers, facility and tools our student's need to succeed. Due to covid we have had to toe a line with refunds and follow contracts exactly as we are trying to survive as a business. The right answer is not always convenient. However, in the interest of coming to a favorable outcome with the BBB and accommodations for this gentleman's untimely back pain, we are offering the student a $150 to withdraw the complaint and finalize any relationship with our school in a positive manner.
