July 6th, 2023.I left an iPad to repair a cracked screen. Every time I went back the owner was not there, in the beginning, I was told the home button was broken and was taken to another store for further repairs. I went there many times and was told the same story. The last time the owner was there, he couldn't find the iPad and he told me that he just got the iPad back from the other repair shop and he needed to take a look at it before he returned it. I have called multiple times since then, with no response, I have stopped at the shop multiple times and the store is closed. There is now a sign to text ************ to get your device back as the store is closing. I texted that number and no response. I just want the iPad returned, as I will be forced to file a police report if I don't get it back.Initial Complaint

I took my phone to be repaired over three weeks ago The store has not been open to speak to the owner I sent a email regarding my phone in there possession The owner called after 2 weeks and stated he had a emergency and has not been returning calls wont answer the phone or is available to open the store to retrieve my phone. The phone is worth ***** dollars Which he stated the phone screen could not be replaced? I asked when I can pick up my phone and went to the store as he stated he would be there I check the store every day and it is never open To retrieve my phone so i can send it under my warranty to be replaced I can not reach anyone at the store and will be forced to file a theft report to my insurance if I dont get my phone back
