To whom it may concern this company beneath overcharged for parts and labor that were not discussed in the Original repair request repairs werepairs were done poorly and the car is running, but for the amount that was paid should have been running top-notch.Business response

To whom it may concern, repair on **** Chevrolet impala in question changed from original repair since, complainant started to ask if other repairs were needing while performing original repair request. Vehicle is older as normal weathering from time had occurred. All vehicles have a visual inspection performed to advice customers of safety concerns. After diagnosis of vehicle engine replacement or rebuild being determined. Complainant was unsure of what additional upgrades he wanted done to engine. All labor is times are acquired from ALLDATA repair guide. Lowering adjustment of hourly labor rate was provided as a curtesy from $95 to $85. After upgrades were decided, additional parts were necessary to support upgrades wanted by complainant . Additional repairs were verbally approved by complainant. Majority of all parts were supplied by complainant taking several months to be received. In turn vehicle took up business work space while waiting for complainant to bring parts. Complainant was informed of policy that there was no warranty on parts and labor he provided before starting repairs. All parts that were supplied by us are covered under our warranty of parts and labor. All work and parts were installed and performed as specified in repair manual (fasteners Torque, sequence, etc.) complainant vehicle was returned to complainant after passing our engine rebuild break in procedure, and verifying vehicle was running correctly. Test drive with complainant was done before complainant left business premises. Video recording of no abnormal sounds from engine available. This complaint has no supportive details about workmanship quality. With this response and details provided above, dismiss this complaint.
