Good Morning: On June 17, 2024 I contracted with Two Men and a Truck for a local move. During the move there was some damage to a recliner. There was a damage report filed by the mover o and according to the report I would be contacted regarding the matter. I called ****** on June 27th to follow up and left a message with no response. On July 2nd I called again and this time spoke with *************************** regarding the issue, he asked me to email him the accident report which I did. Having heard nothing by July 16th, I emailed ***** again and as of today have still heard nothing. I would like a response to my request for repair to my recliner.

      Good Afternoon:

On Friday July 26th I was contacted by ****** from Two Men and a Truck.  She made an appointment with me to assess the damage, and on Saturday came by my home.  After assessing the situation she quickly provided a satisfactory solution to the problem and had it resolved by the end of the business day on Saturday.  I appreciated her concern for the situation and the quick remedy.

I was charged $330 on 6/24/24 for a deposit for my move. I had issues with the movers on my moving day (6/27/24) and was charged $206 for my total move. I explained to the movers that I already paid on 6/24/24. Movers told me my total was only $206 and not $330. I asked for a receipt and was told I would get it text to me. I never received a receipt. I called on 6/28/24 and was told my total move was more than $500. I requested a receipt and still have not received one. I was overcharged for my move and was told by the movers my total was only $206 with several people as a witness to this. The company is required by law to provide me with a receipt.

      Hello,

We appreciate the customer reaching out. Our Business Support Specialist tried to explain the charges for the move (which are the same for everyone) to our client. Unfortunately after multiple explanations of the billing process, we were unable to help the client. We are sending the client a reciept today,

I was over charged for my move. I was quoted for 2 hours at $165 for a total of $330 which was paid as a deposit. My move took 2 hours for a total of $330. I was then charged an additional $206 and was told by the driver my total move was $206 and not $330 so I should be refunded. I requested a receipt for my move and driver said one would be text to me which I never received.

I have a screen shot of an estimate of 4 hours even when I asked for an estimate of 2 hours. ****** told me my total was $206 NOT $500 plus. I was not given a receipt until AFTER I filed a complaint. This company is operating illegally by lying to its customers. You are responsible for your employees even when they lie to your customers I have witnesses to this since he said this in front of several people other than myself in my garage.

      Hello,

We do apologize for any inconvenience. Both your estimate details and pre move letter which you viewed give you an estimate range of 2-4 hours. We have tried to resolve this and hope that we can come to a resolution. We would be happy to attach your pre move letter and estimate details.

      Thanks,

The estimate does not warrant additional charges its solely an ESTIMATE. I should be refunded the additional charges since I was told my total was $206.

      Hello,

We have tried multiple times to explain the charges to this client. It was explained on the initial phone call and subsequent phone calls after. The move took less time than originally estimated. At this time we cannot offer any additional assistance above what we have.

      Thanks,

On Thursday 10/12/23, I contracted said company to move my household goods. The date was for the move was 10/26/23. My major concern was an approximate $1800 ************* Classic III ceramic grill. Instructions were added to have the item wrapped and protected. The day of the move, the movers declined to protected the item against my wife's objection. The grill was placed in the truck in protected. When we arrived at our location, the movers rolled the grill off the truck and it shattered. They knew they had messed up because they did not follow directions and ignored my wife's request.A damage report was taken down and we were given a copy of it. The moving company was given a copy of the receipt for the grill. An additional item was also discovered to be broken after the fact. There is a receipt for that item as well. The total value of the items, plus tax and installation sits at $2139.31. We were given two business days for a response which never came. Numerous phone calls were made to the company went unanswered or went to voice mail. No return calls have been given. At this point it appears they are ducking from their responsibilities to take care of this. At this point I am moving to the next stage in this by contacting the BBB for a complaint and aid in resolution. If this doesn't help, I will move to the beginning steps for legal actions.

We apologize that we damaged this item. After speaking with the General Manager we offered $600 dollars as a settlement since valuation was not purchased. By law we are only required to compensate 60 cents per pound per item and our offer was well above that in violation of our state tariff.

I was moving clothes, decor, pictures, household items not furniture from my home in ********* to ********* **. A friend of mine recommended this company as she had used them in the past to move her from one home to another in the **************.Total cost for 1 pallet was $3800. I paid $3000 on 7/7/2023. When the 2 men showed up on 7/10/2023 I paid them $500 in cash I have video evidence, a receipt, plus my husband was home for another witness to the situation. $350 for the balance owed and the $150 for the tip. The job took less than 30 mins to complete as it was just boxes of clothes, etc. When the pallet arrived, the 2 men from the ********* crew came and collected the remaining balance of $500 what was owed to unload the items. I asked them if they accepted cash and they stated no. So I paid $600 $500 for the BALANCE DUE and $100 for the tip. 20 mins later they were done unloading my items. I counted to make sure all was there and thanked them.As I was opening all of my boxes, clothes in vacuum seals smelt of mold and mildew. The smell was so bad even the containers were covered. I had to take all of my clothes to be dry cleaned and the rest of the items I had to discard.Today, 8/22/2023, almost 2 months past my move, I notice a $358.16 charge on my credit card. When I called to ask why they had charged me $358 two months after my move, I get passed around to two different people and still no resolution. This is theft. I did not authorize that charge. If I OWED money, why would they release my items without being paid in full? Nothing makes sense. Im out $1000s of dollars of clothes and household items and now they steal another $358.My lawyer has been contacted. Video footage from that day has been turned over. They have thieves working for them and they do not care about your items.Picture added of everything that I had to dispose of that was covered in mildew.

Hello, we have looking into this complaint and reviews the corresponding phone calls. We have found that we notified the customer on 7/6/2023 that ****** was still due. Even if a client owes funds we do no hold clients items hostage. We will attempt to collect payment and if we can't we do send the balance into collections. We apologize about the state the items arrived in but unfortunately once they leave our facility to be shipped we are no longer in possession of the items. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

I used 2 men and a truck to ********** July 17th. There was many instances of negligence and not handling furniture with care by the moving staff. My favorite armoire was dragged up the stairs, broke off the side panel and banged up half the stairwell while trying to move armoire upstairs. Then they told me they couldnt move it upstairs after causing all this damage. After that incident then the crew asked where to place armoire and I said kitchen. Then they dragged armoire down the kitchen hallway and dragged on kitchen floor scratching brand new vinyl flooring. I called and emailed about 10 times trying to get resolve spoke with multiple sales staff and *******. ******* from the facility came to my house supposedly with owner after saying we will make this right@. He took pictures and kept saying he would send someone out for repairs and has not for 3 weeks. I want at minimum refund for moving. I paid over $1000 for the move itself and then paid for repairs of $600 and I have not fixed floors yet. Please assist since no resolve trying to handle myself. Appreciate your efforts and assistance.

We apologize that our movers had damages on your move. We reimbursed you over $600 dollars for the drywall repair. For your flooring, it sounds like there is some confusion. According to ******* you mentioned a box was slid across the floor, but your message says an armoire. According to *******, the flooring was not installed properly initially which cause damages that we could not repair. ******* explained this to you onsite and we tried to accommodate as possible.

I contracted their services to help me move a pool table from ******* to *********. I was quoted $500.00 for the services and paid. I understood it was only an estimate that could charge by the time of services. By the time of services, everything started OK; they took the pool table, load it onto the truck, and headed to the destination. Approximately half an hour later, I received a call from the driver informing me that the truck had an issue and they were stuck in the middle of the road waiting for it to be fixed. I waited for almost 2 hrs, and they did not arrive at the destination, and I had to leave for work; I left my father in charge of receiving it, and I informed the driver where to put the pool table and all the instructions. I received a call later in the afternoon where my father informed me that they left the pool table and asked him for payment since it was not paid. I told him that I would look into it because I already paid them. They charge my father an extra $350.00. I called the office, but by that time, they were already closed. I contacted the driver looking for an explanation, and he informed me that the officer instructed him to charge me an extra hour of service for the time they were in the road. The following day I called the office and was told by the persona that made the first contract that it was incorrect and that he would look into it and someone would call me later. A couple of hours someone else called me and said that the extra charge was for travel fees, which were already included in the first estimate and payment. I am asking for an adjustment of charges because they are charging me and extra hours of services ($200.00) and a travel fee of $300.00 when it was calculated as $200.00 on the first agreement. Total $300.00

I contacted Two Men and a Truck on 09/01/2022 to set up our move on 09/08 from ********* to *******. I explained to the *** that everything was boxed up and there was some furniture on the 2nd floor I couldn't bring down. I explained to her that I have a bad back and am not able to do heavy lifting. I was told no problem. I was given an estimated cost of $1340.00 for 2 men. I agreed and gave them a deposit if $420. The movers were supposed to arrive between *****am. They didn't arrive until 850am and with 3 movers when I only authorized 2. I called the office and was told someone would get back to me. They started loading and it looked like things were going smoothly. ****** the lead mover informed me that the bookcase to the desk would need to be broken down so they could move it (this surprised me because it was delivered in one piece). So, I broke it down for them. Then they couldn't figure out how to take the bed frame apart. I showed them and they still couldn't get it. So, I took the bed frame apart. When it looked like they were almost done I went on ahead to the new home to get things ready. I left my rental home at 1pm. My wife texted me at 120pm to tell me the movers had left. I arrived at the new home at 145pm. the movers arrived at 3pm and started unloading. As they were unloading, I noticed my desk was there and asked them about it. ***** said they couldn't get it through the door, so it was left. After they finished ***** had me pay a total of $2007.88 but could not show me a bill. He said it would be emailed to me. the movers left at 430pm. When I finally got the email, I noticed I was charged for **** hrs and for packing material that was not used. I called the office and was told someone would get back to me. They also damaged a wall which I did discover until after they left. I made several calls to their office with no response. Finally on Oct 3 I got a call from ******* the ** (so he says) that he would look into it and call back. No calls yet.

Contracted to move on 5-18-22, with payment range of $1500-1800. Total charge of 2072, close enough. But they didn't load everything and required a second day. The load was not packed well which is why they couldn't load everything. They then required a second day shipment on 5-23-22 for misc. items and charged another $495. My father in law supervised and told them that if they packed it correctly they could get it all in one shipment, they didn't. When I called to talk to a manager and see if we could resolve this they didn't return 3 calls for 3 weeks. I was told that Robert W***** or John T***** would respond. I finally was able to talk to someone, Dave L******* (sp) and he explained the bill to me, but offered no help. Finally they offered $16.50 discount which is a joke. They explained that it's safety first and they couldn't load the rest, which he wasn't there for the move nor was it noted as a safety issue. Most of the items on the 2nd day were pictures and frames and chairs. They basically ripped me off for about $500 and it's sad that they couldn't respond or resolve the issue.

09May22 I arranged for Two Men and a Truck to deliver furniture to my new property. I was nervous about how they were handling my furniture so I called up their head office and asked if it was too late to add insurance, they agreed to adding insurance onto the delivery. The lead guy said he was going to do protective measures to ensure there was minimal damage to my property, eg "we'll wrap the walls and hand rails". This was not done. Nothing was done to protect from damage. I have a brand new build. They chipped the walls and caused unnecessary damage. They did not utilize any tools, eg a stair trolley to get items up the stairs, they just used sheer muscle power which left wall all over my furniture. The lead guy said that it was just their bodies leaving marks on the wall but that it can be easily cleaned. That was not the case. I have tried contacting them, I have left 2 voicemails, 1 message with a Sales rep, and a form I filled out online after receiving no response. No one has gotten in contact with me.
