On June 06, 2024 I had a storage container picked up by "Pods ******************************* In the process of picking it up, the driver damaged my tree and broke a 25 foot branch which is now dangling over my iron fence. The branch weight approx 150 lbs and when it falls completely, it will knock down my fence. I notified the business which submitted a claim for property damage. The adjustor contacted me yesterday and says: ...Generally, these claims are not something that PODS covers because per the rental agreement, accepted on 5/1/24, you are representing to PODS that the area where you require placement will have adequate space and clearance for the placement of the container..........I did not select the location of the storage container, their driver selected it. I wanted the storage container in my driveway so that I could lock the gate each night and keep my contents safe. The driver dropping off the container would not put the container in the driveway and HE SELECTED THE LOCATION, I explained this to the adjustor but never received a reply back. The PODS driver that dropped it off was able to safely drop off the container but the driver that picked it up decided to park under the tree and pick it up thus breaking the 25 ft branch. This is reckless and failed to use due care thus damaging my property. It has been a week since this incident and they have not sent a tree trimming service to finish removing the tree branch and properly disposing of it. It is too large for me to put in my trash and I do not own a chainsaw to cut it up. PODS Property damage Claim # ******** PODS Order # *******

My husband and I ordered a POD for May 19th and pick up of that POD May 20th. We were told the POD would be in Nevada May 27 2022 and this all went as planned. We paid for the Pod to be delivered $453.02 and shipped for $1634.81 all paid on time. I schedule a redelivery date to our address in Nevada on May 19th for June 11th. The associate I spoke to took our new address and cross streets and positioning of the POD so it could be delivered. The week our POD was supposed to be delivered I called to make the delivery payment and was told there was no redelivery in the system. The associate we spoke to told up the previous associate did not put in our date and we would have to reschedule for June 25th. The would mean we would have to pay the extra months rental fee, due to the negligence of PODS. We explained to her this was unacceptable because this error was due to PODS and not us. She told us she would write the report so we would not have to pay the months rental fee. She also filed a report so we could get an earlier date, and explained there were no guarantees. At the end of the call we had a redelivery date of June 25th , she took our address asked for the cross streets and how we wanted the pod positioned. We call the week of delivery to pay the redelivery fee , the associate takes my card information to pay the fee of $244. Before the call is over I ask him what time the POD would be delivered and he tells me there is no date set for redelivery. This is the second time, due to the negligence of PODS associates our date has not been solidified. I had paid for what to be believed is the redelivery fee and no date has been set , again. The associate told us the only thing he could do is request a refund to the resolution team and set a date for July 19th. We told him this was completely unacceptable and he called the Nevada store to get a redelivery date of July 9th. Again, we give our address, cross streets, and positioning of the POD. All calls are recorded

Our pod was scheduled to be delivered on April 8th. PODS missed our delivery date of April 8th, and said they would get it to us April 11th. We told them that was unacceptable. We attempted to get it delivered on April 9th unsuccessfully. We spent hours on the phone over the weekend being passed from representative to representative. We were told it would come April 11th, and to expect an email confirmation. None came. I checked our account and they had scheduled it for April 18th. We called again asking for an explanation. They didn't have one. We have had to change our movers 4 times. They just told us today they won't be bringing it to us until April 13th, even though the pod is at the warehouse in Las Vegas, confirmed directly by one of the employees. Here are all the very serious reasons why this is an issue: I work remotely and have been unable to work at home, so I'm paying out of pocket for a coworking space (about $100) We have been sleeping on the floor, and I have a medical condition (a spinal fusion) and it's very painful for me to be sleeping on the ground. This is incredibly likely to cause ongoing medical issues for me. I'm happy to provide proof of my condition. We can't cook at home because we have no kitchen supplies, so we have had to spend money to eat out for every meal (upwards of $500 spent at this point). We had to purchase critical items for our home to live daily life that we wouldn't have had to purchase otherwise (upwards of $500 spent at this point). A critical medication was put in the pod on accident. I let PODS know that I needed to access the pod because I was able to obtain enough medication to get me through to the ORIGINAL delivery date- they told me they needed 48 hours notice to access (not even deliver) and refused to help. We want reimbursement for the total cost of service ($3069.35) plus the $1.1k we have spent waiting for our delivery. Our customer number is XXXXXXXXX. Proof attached showing all the reschedules.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/05/03) */ Unfortunately Desert Portable Storage LLC. dba PODS of Las Vegas has no control over moves from other states. After reviewing the customer's claim, it shows delays on the tractor trailer move from Tucson. The container arrived late in the afternoon on 4/8 after deliveries have concluded for the day. Corporate rescheduled delivery for 4/13. Desert Portable/PODS of Las Vegas does not even have the ability to make changes to this customer's schedule as she moved from a different state. Please contact the corporate office to make a claim against them. Las Vegas will be more than happy to back you claim. Thank you.

Date of event: 12/06/21. PODS was paid 35K over 7 years for storage of 3 containers with our household goods. Their commitment is to carefully move our containers from our house, and to store them in a safe, dustfree, waterfree facility and to carefully redeliver the containers when requested. PODS failed to deliver some of our household goods in the same condition that we placed them in the container. It is obvious that one of the containers got wet, as a result of which there is water and mold damage to one sofa. Another sofa got wet on the leather area and nesting tables rusted. Oriental and Afghan rugs and clothing extremely dirty and dusty. Several boxes got wet with evidence of water stains. Glass dining room table and chairs chipped. Evidence of open areas in container. After a month of failed efforts to reach PODS,we personally visited and spoke with Mr David **** *** Territory Mgr. He promised to submit a claim with our photos. He confirmed that he did so, but failed to provide us w/a claim # or claim rep. name. It's over a month and Mr. **** refuses to respond to emails or phone calls. We are Seniors and need help getting compensated for the damages. Mr ******* info: XXX-XXX-XXXX; *****@podslasvegas.com.. Our acct. is #XXXXXXXXX; Order #XXXXXX. Only a portion of photos submitted. More available upon request. Thank you. *** & *******

I was told that the largest container 8 X 16 is equivalent to a 10 x 15 storage unit... that was what customer service told me but the movers I used, recommended by PODs, said they do not know what they are talking about so I had to get an additional container which they conveniently did not have the 8 ft so I had to get another 12 ft. Which was only $10/mo less... it was a total rip off and the misrepresentation was appalling that and zero integrity with this company. They even had the nerve to charge me for a container move due to their stupid driver putting it in the wrong place but get this the driver NEVER CAME BACK TO MOVE THE POD... yet I was charged a replacement fee. They did credit me back but only after I called and yelled at them. The latest fiasco is that PODS forgot to pick up the second container after I made sure they needed to pick that one up on the 19th as well... yet the person I was dealing with was obviously inadequate (as usual) and forgot to make sure the second container was picked up so after 2 fricking week they called about a complaint that the container was still at my address by the neighbors. I went ballistic and they had the nerve to schedule a pick up for a week out! So much for franchises being responsible for their actions!
