I called the first listing I found online to repair a KitchenAid refrigerator.I was hooked up w/ a company called Northern ****** Appliance Repair. The service man stated his name was *********************** when he came to my house. I have 3 phone numbers on ************ didn't see his vehicle, so I don't know whether it had the companies' name on it. I asked for his business card, and he didn't have one.I told him my KitchenAid was not cooling properly. The freezer was not working very well at all, and the refrigerator section was just slightly cool.He took off a panel and said oh the reason was that the coils needed to be dusted w/ a toothbrush. I told him I have a vacuum which he used. It only took him a short while and he said that was all it needed and in 2-3 hours everything would be fine. The freezer should be ***** degrees and the regular refrigerator should be around 35 degrees. I said since he was here could he check the compressor and he said that was not necessary because he could hear it and it sounded fine.I checked the temperature thru the rest of the day and the temperature of the freezer never got down below 28 degrees and the refrigerator section was around 40 degrees. I started calling **** at 7:30AM and rite now it is 1:30PM and I haven't heard a peep from him. I spoke to a female 2 times and she told me he would call and rectify my dilemma.I need to get my refrigerator repaired so I called another company and set up an appointment for 2/26/2023. I told this new company what had happened, and the lady said "What was this repairman's name" I told her, so she stated this guy has been going around for the last few months doing similar things. Early this morning I went online and looked for reviews on Northern ****** Appliance Repair and found a review by a female who thot she had been robbed since her washer was never repaired and she had paid the repairman $229.00 for 10 minutes.
