              Need hearing aids, so was told by front desk staff, audiologist, and insurance person @ Swank Family Hearing that they were in-network and that I would receive hearing aids for max $900 out of pocket. I’ve now received bills now for $5300 for the $900 hearing aids. Turns out Swank isn’t in network, which they didn’t know, so Swank is now trying to tell me it’s my fault. I now have hearing aids that don’t fit well and can’t get adjusted because I “need to pay my bill!” Also, my medical records have been altered because they used to say $900 out of pocket max when they no longer say that. I assume Alicia is trying to cover her mistakes by deleting information from my records. Insurance (United Healthcare) says Swank did not fill out any of the required forms for reimbursement or get a pre-authorization so they won’t pay a dime toward the devices - only my Dr visits. I just want to return these hearing aids, pay $0 and move on with my life.

              Horrible patient experience with ********************* who bought the business from ***************************. Dr. ***** was the best. ***** disparaged Dr. ****** reputation by saying he had skipped town like a *****. She said this in a waiting room full of Dr. ****** former patients.********************* called the police when I questioned her competence and asked for a refund since she refused to provide the service I had paid to be performed. As I waited for the police, she shoved me hard, hurting me since I was fresh from total hip replacement. ***** got up in my face and threatened to make me sick with her cold germs if I didn't get out before the police arrived. She even forcibly grabbed my patient's chart from me and tried to blackmail me by saying she'd give them back only if I left before police arrived. I refused.Police arrived and I have filed a police report against ***** for assault and battery. I also filed with the state for Elder Abuse. I notified my insurance of what happened, asking them for me to see another hearing provider to help me with my hearing aids.
