On October 6 of 2021 I went to Ricardo’s mechanic shop and I bought a 2006 Acura MDX. I paid 2800 for it. He had told me that he had replaced the transmission because the old one didn’t work right. I don’t think he actually changed the transmission because after I took it home it started giving me problems back to back. He told me if it ever gave me problems to give him a call. One day I was driving it and it was on drive but it wouldn’t drive. So I called Ricardo but he didn’t answer at all. Then I took it to his shop and he ended up mad because it had only been 3 days since I bought it from him. He said that the transmission didn’t have any oil so he told me to take it to him the upcoming Saturday and leave it 8 hours in the shop so he could fix it once in for all. I decided to stay that day to see what he was going to do it. After 7 hours of waiting the only thing he did was put a sensor on the car that only took 5 minutes to install and told me that’s all he could do and to take it somewhere else. Four days after I was driving the car and it left me stranded in the middle of the road it wouldn’t drive anymore and had no choice to leave it on the side of the road. The other place Is charging me 2,500$ to fix the transmission once in for all
