On 03/06/24 I had logged into my account and were looking through my statements. I had noticed that there were withdrawals to a company that I am not familiar with. The first withdrawal was 02/27/2024 for $240.00, the second withdrawal was 02/28/2024 for $360 and the final one was on 02/29/2024 for $1,211.00. So on 03/06/2024 I emailed and call my card customer service to report this and I couldn’t get through. It would hang up every time. So I patiently waited on the email so that I can fill out the dispute form but after about 1-2 weeks it literally never came. So on 03/18/24 I had called again and was able to get through . I explained everything to the agent and they had be verify and emailed me the forms finally! I filled the forms out on 03/19/2024 and faxed them successfully to the company/bank. I’ve been waiting almost 2 weeks now and haven’t gotten any response! I really need my money back these are fraudulent unauthorized transactions! Money was withdrawn from my bank account fraudulently from a company called MetaMask Banxa! I do not even know who the company is ! I had to check my statements to see who they were to contact them! Upon contacting them I leaned it was a crypto transaction! I do not make any crypto investments or have any reason to even purchase crypto! They told me that since it’s crypto it can’t be refunded or recovered! And when they said they will refund me they acted as if I never replied to there email I have proof! I really need my money back this was almost $2000 taken from my account. I’ve never used them in my life. Please help me recover my money! I do not have this type of money to just lose. This has made me fall behind on bills. I couldn’t even pay for gas until I got paid I’ve been having to borrow money for rent! This is insane! They literally took my money and are telling me there’s nothing I can do about it basically.
