      March 2023 had a colonoscopy. Per information received a flat polyp was removed. To date, May 9, 2023 have received no pathology or other report about this polyp. I have called no less than 4 times. Also stopped by the office of GI consultants on April 13, due to not being able to get through ion the phone. Was asked to sing a paper so i could receive the pathology report by mail. Apparently the Reno and Carson City offices had recently (to april 13) parted ways which is why the phone was not working for a couple days. was told the document I signed would be passed on and I would receive a report "soon". I received apology for the phone issue. I AM VERY frustrated for the lack of professional and follow through on the part of this office. Not only to get back to me in a timely manner regarding result of the pathology... BUT NO response to any message left on their VM's. Have left at least three messages on the medical assistant to Dr. Massey VM since April 13th. Today I called again (may 9) as well as leaving a message on the Discharge coordinators VM. HOPE to hear back soon. Very concerned about my results. How can I follow up if something serious or life threatening was found IF I HAVE NOT been informed. over 7 weeks ago had the colonoscopy.

      On 08/11/22 at 1 pm I was scheduled for colonoscopy with Gastroenterology Consultants Ltd at *** ****** ***, Reno, NV 89502 with Dr. Christi M*******. I completed the required bowel preparation several days prior to the procedure as indicated in their packet. On 8/11/22 my husband and I presented to the office 20 minutes ahead of scheduled time. I was informed I would be the first patient for the afternoon. While going through check-in and medical history review I informed Nurses that I suffer from IBS,anxiety and back pain and since instructions included no liquids 4 hours prior to procedure,that I had not taken any of my prescribed meds. After disrobing, IV placement and vital signs (which were elevated) I could feel impending anxiety.I informed the nurses. I was reassured by nurses, I would be getting “some good sleep.” Approximately, 15 minutes later nurses returned and requested I take some deep breaths Dr. M******* would be approximately 20-30 minutes later than my scheduled 1 pm procedure time due to previous patient problems. I stressed to them again that my anxiety was ebbing and what to expect with my panic attacks. A male person introduced himself as the anesthesiologist and he requested a signature, which I questioned what was I signing since I could not read his form. I stressed my anxiety again. I requested my husband and was told he had left. I was in full panic mode. I stressed I needed my medication and he had my purse. I was threatened with if we take out the IV you cannot change your mind. My clothing bag was thrown at me to dress. When my husband arrived, he questioned them why had not given me something to calm me down if Dr. was running late or listening to me about impending panic attack. Nurse stated they were preparing to offer me something. At no time did anesthesiologist or nurses ever offer me something. I would like to be offered another facility, for my procedure.

      I am a patient of GI Consultants, Carson City NV. I completed my required ultrasound imaging on Tuesday, Oct 12. I am told it is customary for any given Radiologist to look at images and submit a report to the prescribing doctor within 48 hours. I have been calling and leaving voice messages with my GI Doctor (M*****) since Friday, Oct 15, 2021. No one will call me back. I am simply calling to ask if the medical assistant would respectfully call me back to let me know if my ultrasound imaging was received by Dr M***** or the office in general. My complaint is about poor customer service especially in relation to my being a patient with severe pain and suffering a medical issue that is nearly forcing me to visit an ER. I talked directly with the front office staff and I left voice messages with GI Consultant medical assistant (###-###-####) on the following dates: Oct 15, Oct 18, Oct 19, Oct 20, 2021. No one is calling me back
